Overall a standard hotel. The rooms were clean and of a good size but with old carpets and furnishing. We stayed in the standard rooms and had a view of the next buildings brick wall. The building was so close that we hardly had any natural light in our room. However if you just want a good clean room to sleep in while you explore bangkok then this hotel is fine!
Improvements needed to be made at breakfast as there was little choice and the quality was poor.
Location - you will need to get a taxi for most places. Just small local shops within walking distances although there is a handy seven eleven near by.

This hotel is very good value for money. The staff service is excellent, rooms are a good size, very well appointed in terms of functionality and very clean. Tea and coffee and fruit and bottled water provided in rooms free of charge; breakfast included. Late checkout available
Essentially this hotel has all the services you may need ( internet access in business room, cable TV, safety deposit box), good lighting, comfortable beds, but you dont pay for unnecessary services such as hotel shops.
This hotel is about substance, not appearance. It doesnt have the glamour and style of some of the major hotels, but is as clean, comfortable and pampering as you need.
The location means you have to take a taxi (and spend up to 20 mins) to get to some central areas - overall a small price to pay

COURTEOUS STAFF WHO HAVE A GOOD COMMAND OF ENGLISH. LOCATION OF HOTEL
INFLEXIBILITY, NOT ABLE TO MAKE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR BREAKFAST FOR EARLY CHECKOUT
This was our second stay at the hotel and it was nice to have this acknowledged by reception staff who were courteous and helpful at all times. The hotel location is very central and easy to access all transport not just taxis. Our accommodation included breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to leave early to catch our flight prior to 6 am which is the time breakfast is available. We were disappointed that no alternate arrangements were able to be made.
Travel tip : This hotel is very close to excellent public transport which goes to all the major shopping complexs

The breakfast at the hotel was very nice
The location of the hotel is nice. The hotel is nice and with professional staff working here. The girl at the front desk spoke very good English and was nice and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent, and all shopping is very close and you don't need to take a taxi, it is walking distance to almost everything. I would really recommend this hotel to anybody.
Shopping Tip : Very close to Pratunam market with a lot of shopping.

Since your transportation is either a tuk-tuk or a taxi, make sure you ask the taxi to use the meter and confirm the tuk-tuk price before getting in.
Nightlife Tip : Directly infront of the hotel there are two foot reflexology centers which is the cheapest I found. 150bt for 1 hour...unbeatable.

Taxi drivers do not usually knows location of hotels in the city. It is advisable to bring along map of the city with you on taxi rides.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A tour desk in the hotel make it easy to purchase extended trips to the city easy.

It's right behind Eastin Hotel, which is newer, and taxi is everywhere, so travelling to any shopping mall is easy.
