great location but room is outdated

the location is ok. but the near environment is not so good. you can take the shuttle boat to the central pier , the hotel offer the shuttle boat every hour until 11 pm. once you got to central pier, it only take 5 minutes to go to the local department, robinson, or you can have a drink or a feast in famous oriental or lebua hotel. anyway , the location of this hotel is ok, and dont miss the shuttle boat service.

the breafast is quite good, incluing the food and dining place.

Good Value for a Riverside Hotel

This Ramada is the old Menam Riverside Hotel. It is a great riverside location with excellent service, though the rooms are a bit tired and the breakfast buffet is average at best.
The hotel is a 5-10 minute ferry ride to the nearest BTS station. The hotel offers free ferries every 30 minutes, and this is a fun way to start the day. Taxis and tuktuks are also readily available out front.

during my stay i have a wonderful time, staff are very friendly and helpful to all my request, nice place just for relaxing, lovely swimming pool and breakfast are great and many choice.
Room was clean and tidy i definitely come back for my next trip to Bangkok
Shopping Tip:
take a shuttle boat provide by hotel to Sapan Taksin sky train station and form there you can go any shopping mall within a second and less crowed

Enjoy my stay at this hotel, rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Though this hotel was quite far from many things and there wasn't much to do around it. So you need to be willing to pay for taxi's to go other places. The room service food was average, I cant really say anything is this hotel was exceptional to be honest with you, only for the reason of the price was to much.
Nightlife Tip:
Not so many places around this area, but you can go to areas like sukhumvit, kao san and many more.

It was a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great. It take me a few minute to get to Thonburi area. There are a lot of parking space. Very good chinese food which I enjoy several occasion. The atmosphere is peaceful especially with the river view up front. Most of the room facing river view which is very nice in the morning and by night. On the first night , we have the room which the air condition is unadjustable and it is too cold. The front office was very helpful and find us another room and care enough to check the air condition as to make sure that it is adjustable for us.

Good chinese restaurant.

Below than expected - not good value for the money

we stayed 2 nights. we were disappointed. indeed, the value for the money is below than expected for a 5* hotel. the rooms are not soundproofed well, you can listen the noise of the tv from the room next to you, the breakfast is weak, and the quality of the bed doesn't convince.

Great hotel and excellent service

We were there during the floods and it was a safe haven with all the staff behaving as though nothing was unusual. With sandbags around and staff busily sweeping away flood water at high tide, every thing seemed to be going on as normal. We were very impressed with the professionalism of all the staff.
