Tranquil hotel in the middle of bustling

the hotel is located in the middle of restaurants, cafes, massage places and souvenir shops lines which make it easier to have your stomach filled and relax after traveling around bangkok. nightlife is also only few steps away from the hotel. amidst the bustling nightlife, this hotel room offers serenity that once you enter the hotel you won't hear any noise from the street. one suggestion, please keep your valuable securely when you leave the room. you might notice that you lose small things from your luggage that will irritate you even though the stuffs are not that important.

The reception desk seemed to be always in a hurry, if you just wanted your keys they told you to wait and get in the line - behind those who were waiting to check in! So i sometimes waited up to 10 mins to only get my keys.... all in all it seemed like a giant mass-oriented hotel

The pool is very good. The rooms and bathrooms were clean
Negative:
The hotel is situated in a roo behing Khaosan Road, therefore it is a little less noisy than directly in Khaosan Road, but even if you have a room in 5th floor you hear the noise from the road.
The staff was not very helpfull.
No WiFi in the Hotel and no restauration

very busy hotel, receptionists stressed. rooms rudimentary, just the necessary furniture, upgrade to superior means smaller room, slightly bigger tv, minbar. sheet and pillow grey. no breakfast, but nearby possibilites, many restaurants, and little day and night market in the street nearby. for bath secur luggage store service.
cheap internet office close to the hotel. 7 eleven for food/beverage, little pharmacy sortiment
nearby as well as cash machines.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the famous Kohan street is inwithin walking distance, 10Min. The Royal Palace is by taxi 5 Min. to reach (the taxi drivers in the Rambuttri street are trying to get the most out of the tourists!) Take a taxi on the main road a cuple of meters away from Rambuttri Village it's cheaper. Shariah-la 5-star Hotel on the riverside is beautiful and affordable for a drink on the terrace and even for meals. Next to a boat station.

pleasant experience
near Khao San road, good price

good price for a basic room, near the khao san road, breakfast isn't available but is enough of good food available on street in front of the hotel, pool on the roof is a lot of fun, on reception you can get useful assistance for all kinds of information but on check in and out you have a feeling that are just a number for them! wi-fi???

Hotel economico e in posizione centrale
Vicino a Kao San Road, Economico, Pulito, Molto gentili, Reception aperta 24 ore, Situato in un cortile interno tranquillo con una bella fontana

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni al Rambutri Village. Ci siamo trovati nel centro del divertimento di Bangkok vicino a Kao San Road in un ambiente piacevole e rilassato frequantato principalmente da backpackers. Per arrivare nelle zone piu turistiche (palazzo reale,...) ci voglioni circa 20 min a piedi. La colazzione non è inclusa ma ci sono molti ristorantini che la offrono nei paraggi. Bisogna lasciare una cauzione all'arrivo di 1000 bath che viene restituita al checkout. Giudizio positivo. Consigliato sopratutto per ragazzi e coppie giovani.

Best budget hotel in Khaosan area

It's my sec time stay this hotel,I have to say it's best budget hotel in that area.
Only problem is bath room:water very small,I stay level 5,I don't know what's going on...last time I stay level 4,everything was fine.
Besides this,it's all nice in this price.
Nightlife Tip:
Nice area for nightlife and still can sleep

nice hotel in the middle of the backpackers heaven
we had double de luxe room. smal but suited for our need.
only disadvantage is that the room had no cubboard.
but good price quality value for money.
keep in mind cash only and only to be booked via internet. do not expect to get à room without internet reservation

Located near Khaosan road and many tourist attractions. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and massage parlours near the hotel but if you would like to sleep well after a long flight, you won't be bothered by any noise, it's very quiet. Rooms are no longer new, but clean and cosy. You will pay 1000 baht for key deposit. You may take your breakfast in a cafe with a pond full of big fishes. All staff was very kind and friendly, ready to help or to give an advice. Near the hotel is a taxi and tuk-tuk "station". A small market with fruit. The top floor has a nice pool and sun loungers, so you can relax a little and lie in the sun.

Worth your money.
Clean room, near 7-eleven and lots of eateries around the hotel.

good clean room. you can find halal restaurant not far away from the hotel in new world lodge in khoasan road. 7-eleven and numerous eateries only a walk away. easy to get taxi or bus charter via travel office near the reception. private taxis and tut tut also easy to get. many tourist/backpackers especially from europe are staying here.there are few negative points however - no kettle, no fridge, no iron board and the rooms are quite small.
