Hotel was near of Khaosan Road and other attractions too. There was also a lot of restaurants and 7-eleven's nearby. Rooms were clean and the swimming pool on the roof was a nice bonus. (Althought the pool side was open only until 6.00 PM) I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

Room is very nice for stay, location in prime, 2 minutes walk to khao san road and 5 minutes walk to chao phray river. Wi fi is not enabled, this is surely a negative. North Indian Food is available at the entrance of the hotel, which is delicious. I definitely feel i have done a good thing in choosing this hotel. I recommend.

If you're passing through bangkok for a night or two on your way to the islands. Stay here. Two pools on the roof. Incredible location (slightly farther from airport), but well worth it. Near train station and bus station. The ride from the airport should cost you ~450 baht.

The ladies in reception did not give us the key to our reserved & pay room because we did not give them in case we'll break something

If you enjoy the craziness of being surrounded by people,vendors,restaurants,bars,traffic all day and night,then you will love it here.The food is of course always delicious and cheap,whether it be bought on the street(paid 30baht for a large helping of egg/chicken pad thai,which comes up to less than a dollar !) or at the various restaurants.
Great deals on clothing and accessories,fabrics,cds,souvenirs,etc.
just a few minutes walk away is the river bus/boat,which will take you on a 3-40 minute trip up or down the river for only !
but having the rooftop pool was a major bonus as it allowed you to cool off from the humidity and wind down in the late afternoon(only open from 10a.m. until 6.00p.m.)
7-11 right next door for purchasing beer/beverages/snacks,etc.
all in all great value for the money,but that part of bangkok is fine for a few nights,after that you need to rest up.

Very Nice Hotel - Great Location

That was our first hotel in Thailand. and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Located near 7-11 (which is important after long flight), and 3 minutes walk from Kwason. Nice pool (although the water could be a bit cooler). Over all, nice room, medium shower, but over all - good value for money.
Shopping Tip:
hotel is close to main street. you can get everything at half the price the seller will tell you.

Close to Khao San road

I've been in Thailand by now, including Bangkok. Normally when I stay in Bangkok I choose a 4 star hotel, but this time I did not. Instead of focusing on areas with many shopping centres, I wanted to spend my time in the Khao San road area. The hotel is withing walking distance to Khao San road, and also some temples if you like to see them during your staying. There is no traffic that disturbes you which is very good and they also have a pool on the roof which is very nice, though this is a hotel is far from a 4 star hotel.
But, I really missed having a refrigerator in my room. Other hotels with lower standard have offered this, so I got more than surprised not having one in my room.
