very busy reception as this hotel is used mainly as a stop gap/passing through and short stay hotel , it took us about 15-20 mins to check in ,nice to have a choice of 2 pools but there are no fridges in the rooms and no coffee or tea making available in the rooms , nice area of kaosan though but can be expensive to eat if you dont compare the menus 1st .Only wi-fi in the lobby

if on a budget eat where you see the locals/thais eating

dissapointed having no fridge or tea making facilities , check-in was a bit slow due to it being a short stay hotel , i would not like to stay for more than 2 nights and will try a different hotel next time possibly with breakfast incuded as i found the nearby resteraunts a bit expensive e.g for a rice dish !, though the atmosphere was good.
Nightlife Tip:
plenty of nightlife in koasan rd itself

we went back here every time we passed through bangkok and will stay no where else. clean,soft beds,air con, fridge and handy to everything.only few minutes walk to kao san road but its own lane has a great vibe.

Good location, away from the noise of kao San road but close enough to enjoy the nightlife. Swimming pool and clean rooms.

i spent 4 nights at rambutti hotel, perfect location, close to the nice monuments and kao san road. rooms are clean, swimming pool is ok (there are 2 on the roof floor).
the hotel is huge, the flow of people at the reception never stops.
reception staff is terrible, very unfriendly, probably due to the number of people coming ad leaving all day long...
Shopping Tip:
Enjoy the chatuchak weekend market, kao San road offers great shopping opportunities, cheap clothes. Go to Siam square for shopping in a big mall.

Best Place for a Tourist in Bangkok...

Rambuttri Village Hotel is not a village as consisted in its name but the perfect thing is its place. Very close to places to see including Grand Palace. I recommend to go grand palace via a boat from river; port 13 is very close to hotel. and the street is excellent for dinner, massage and shopping. Compared to its price is affordable the size and equipment in room.
