Great location, clean rooms

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel and wouldn't hesitate coming back. The location is great with direct access onto the Rambuttri and ko San road. It offers excellent value for money with no frills rooms that are clean with hot water and aircon, along with the added bonus of a roof top swimming pool. Bargain!

if you want 5 star luxury this won't be the hotel for you. if you want basic, clean and in a great location close to the khaosan rd then it's perfect. we'll be using the rambuttri on any future trips to bangkok.

only the location was good
The roof top pool was nice and clean and the location was good

We stayed in a triple room for 3 nights. The room was big enough in size but it was old and dirty looking, the bathroom was old and ugly with the shower and toilet not being seperated by a screen. The staff were OK not overly helpful or friendly though. For a cheap room it was okay, but I dont think we will be going back there.

this is the third time that i have stayed here, the first being six years ago when the hotel wad new, and am pleased to see that it has been maintained really well.
rooms are a decent size, clean, air con and small tv, and very comfy mattress. compared to most of the other rooms in this area, which can be pretty grim, this is definately the best place to stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Would recommend booking as it is nearly always full.

we stayed here four four nights and were not dissapointed. this is of course a budget hotel so don't expect to much. the location here was great especialy if you are going to tour the temples and go along the river. you only need to sleep in your room anyway.we found some great food in the area and a great little park along the river. you can't get bored here with vendors and massages right outsside the hotel. also it is just a shot walk to the famous khosan road. we thought pool on the rooftop was the greatest surprise for some needed rest and relaxation from the hectic shopping and nightlife. we would stay here again as it is well worth the money only to leave you more in your pocket for shopping and eating.
Restaurant Tip:
Grab some street food from some of the local vendors and bring it down to the park along the river for a nice relaxing picnic style experience. Oh yeah don't forget to go to the emerald Buddha absolutely breathtaking.

Very convenient for doing anything. Good location for sight seeing during the day and much to choose from for the night life. Busy location. The room is small but really clean. Too bad it didn't have the fridge in there for the cold drink at night. Staff could use a little more smile but they were good.

The hotel has many many rooms, and the staff were very efficient at checking everybody in and out all day. Rooms were clean, and the location can't be faulted - along the street are many cafes, shops etc. With so much going on the room was also surprisingly quiet. I would stay happily stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Some of the blocks of the hotel are not serviced by an elevator - those unable to use the stairs may want to request a room in a wing with an elevator.
