Great place
Lovely street, outdoor swiming pool, good energics.

Located in a perfect street, next to the Kao San road. The rooms are simple, not that clean but OK. The workers at the reception aren't nice, but who cares. The pool on the top is realy nice. Value for money.

Best point for the hotel was the location, situated near everything you could expect to want in Bangkok! Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay here. The road it was located on was busy and we enjoyed the markets and restaurants located very nearby. The 7/11's were great for water and other bits and bobs!No hotel restaurant but sited right next to loads.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the nearby river and get a long boat tour of the rivers. Its around an hour long but gives you a great insight into how the people live outside the city on the river banks. cost us 1000baht but i think you could haggle it cheaper than that!

room was anything but deluxe, bed was rock hard, sheets on bed threadbare and looked dirty, towels were dirty, staff pleasant, some difficulties communicating due to language barriers, air conditioning great!
Travel tip:
If you like the noise and bustle of this area then this is the place for you. We found the accomodation very backpackerish. Did not like location due to constant hassle of street vendors.
If you are into the pub and nightlife scene then this location of accomodation is a must.

Clearly the hotel has bad experiences with backpackers,
you have to give 1000 THB deposit at check-in for possible room damage. Despite of Rambuttri Road, the rooms seems to be quiet, at least our's was. Swimming pool is open only 8 am to 6 pm, which is a shame, because you could see beautiful sunsets there.
Reception is professional but distant, not superfriendly.
At picktimes (check-in & check-outtimes) you might have to wait for a while, even for such simple things as picking up your roomkey.
Roomservice did forget out the sink for cleaning.
I probably would book it again.

Great location near Khao San Road

This hotel was good value for a place with a swimming pool. It was fairly quiet, totally characterless in the corridors.
The reception was quite hectic but check-in and out was fine. The rooms are basic with very cheap furniture, old TV but a DVD player, but they had everything you needed. Small, with a window, fortunately, as the room did smell of stale tobacco.
Restaurant Tip:
Oh My Cod is a good, basic, English style cafe practically next to the hotel. use it for breakfast and if you have a hankering for fish and chips or a pie.

the hotel is in a great location on the more chilled out Ram Butri but just a short walk to Khao San. The rooms are your standard hotel fare and there is a good rooftop swimming pool.
Only real negative are that the staff are very slow - not their fault i don't think but it seems they have to bash about on the computer for the simplest of tasks. not a big prob tho...
All in all a good, relatively cheap place to stay in a great area.
Nightlife Tip:
Head over to Madame Musur down Ram Butri for some great cocktails in a nice chilled little beach style bar.

Wow..I just plan to stay for one night, but after 1 night,I decided to stay there for 4 nights. Its totally gOod hotel (location, room, transportation, service). Near from Khaosan rd but if you're in the room feel so silent and have a good rest. Overall..this hotel is so recommended! Trust me :)

Felt let down by the pictures but great location
Close to Ko San, has a pool.

After seeing the photos i booked and was expecting a lovely hotel.
Actually its an OK hotel and a series of shops/bars; the village.
The photos have maximised the looks of the hotel. The room was OK but i didn't get one that they show on the website.
When I checked in the staff weren't friendly but i think that was because they were very busy.
When i checked out at 4:30 in the morning i did get a smile.
There are plenty of worse hotels around there.
Downside was there want free WiFi, but there is an internet cafe in the shops next to the really nice pond.
If you want a nice enough room close but not right in Ko San Road then this is for you.

The room is quite comfortable but the green sign for cleaners to clean up the room reception didnt gave us. Then when i ask for it the receptionist's attitude was just cold. She ignored me at first and finally asked me to go to the cleaner directly. There is always several people at reception cuz it's quite big hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
near khao san rd. about 20 minutes walk to Grand Palace. There's a swimming pool on hotel's roof but they wont inform you.
