The location and the room rates are both excellent.

This hotel has been affected by the economic crisis. The food and rooms are average at best. The mini-bar and internet access prices are too expensive.

This hotel is in a great location and the price is very affordable, but it has definitely been affected by the economic crisis. The Japanese restaurant in the lobby has closed and the Out of Africa restaurant is now the Out of Asia restaurant. The food is decent and this is where room service now comes from. You will be charged 600 baht for that guest who spends the evening in your room. To avoid this extra charge, simply book your room for two guests, at no additional charges, when making your initial online booking. Hot night life and easily obtainable transport are nearby. Have fun!!

Economic, good staff, reasonably good rooms

Uncomfortable location

Good staff, reasonably good rooms, economically priced. Location is not good. Its on a busy and con justed road. Beware of the taxi drivers outside the hotel . They will forcefully take you to places where they get handsome commission on our buying. There are bars and small restaurants nearby.

Shopping Tip : Beware of the taxi drivers outside the hotel. They may compel you to go to places where they get good commission on your purchases.

It should be a plus for 3 star hotel, particularly the size of the room and the amenities provided in the room.

It is difficult to recognize that it is the hotel I am going to stay, when taxi dropped me in front of the hotel. It was almost no different with neighboring shops. The lobby hotel is too small.

I was appointed to attend an conference conducted at Sukhumvit area in a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. I select Agoda when I looked for a hotel located closed to the venue of the conference and offering room rate which is comfortable for me. A competitive rate is offered by this agent. When taxi dropped me in front of the hotel, I was confusing initially the taxi driver told me that we have arrived at the hotel. I hardly recognized that it is the Regency Park because it was almost nothing difference with neighboring shops. However, when I came into my room. it is such a room larger then a normal 3 star hotel room with complete range of amenities.

Huge comfy bed. Close to restaurants, shops and train stations.

No safe box in some rooms. Hotel itself is a bit old. Not exactly a family-friendly neighbourhood at night.

Over all the hotel is decent enough. Staff were helpful, but asking them to call a taxi means having a member of staff go out to the street and hail one for you, so don't bother to try to reserve one ahead of time. The side street that the hotel is on is full of bars, but the slightly unsavoury kind. However, Sukhumvit is the downtown, upscale area of Bangkok with a lot of restaurants and shops. The hotel is located in between two skytrain stations, and either of them takes about 7-10 minutes to walk to. The hotel room is clean, but one of the rooms that we stayed in didn't have a proper safe box which is our main beef. Be aware that the hotel will ask you for cash for deposit (1000 baht for us) rather than taking your credit card number down.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is quite far from the Grand Palace and famous Wats, which means there is a lot of traffic in between. We took the skytrain to National Stadium station and took a Tuk-tuk from there, but it still took us more than 30 minutes. Try not to go during rush hours because the traffic is BAD!

The location is great for easy access to the MRT & other modes of transport, plus night life & restaurants are all within walking distance.

The internet access here is expensive, the food is average.

The service & staff are good, the rooms are starting to look worn and the food is average. Internet access is expensive, like most hotels in Thailand, but simply walk accross the street to the internet cafe and pay only 30 baht per hour. The location is within walking distance of good night life, restaurants and the MRT.

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, bath robes and slippers provided.

Loose shower head. High priced minibar and excess count on usage. High priced restaurant and spa. Poor aircon in lobby.

The hotel was clean and in a very nice location. Close to internet cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping emporium, post office and sky train depot. The staff was helpful and polite except for security and night shift staff.

Nightlife Tip : Less than 100 baht to most night life locations.

Nice and clean.

A safe in the room would have been nice instead of the steel box with a wooden peg for a lock. Minor point though.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was huge. I could have had a whole family sleep in it. The location is not far from the train station and there are places to eat near the hotel as well. If you are in the mood for a drink there are plenty of bars too.

Decent location, quiet and clean.

No safe.

I would stay here again. It is near a train station and there is a taxi stand right in front of the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Entertainment is available as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most speak English well so it was easy to communicate.

Hotel is in a great location close to skytrain, shopping and many restaurants. Reception very accommodating. Room very nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. Public areas very attractive and well-kept.

Reception attendants had very little English. Breakfast was okay but not great. The biggest disappointment was going up to swim in the pool and discovering it was closed for renovations. There are many hotels in the area but the main reason I chose this one was for the pool. As a result, I did not extend my stay.

I was looking forward to my stay as I had visited this hotel in the past. The fact that the pool was closed was the major disappointment. If I wanted to stay there again I would make sure that I had all information before I booked.

Nightlife Tip : very busy area, plenty to choose from depending on your taste.

second time we have stayed here, this time they were refurbishing but didn't effect our stay. This will be a nice hotel when they have finished refurbishing we will go back.Beds were hard but then most are in Thailand.

Restaurant Tip : You can get good breakfast and meals at Larry's Dive which is same side as Hotel 100yds. Please dont feed baby elephants at night this is a practice trying to be prevented as it is distressing for them to wander the streets.
