To get to the room required your room card to operate the lift to your floor, a good security feature. The room was equipped with a minibar which wasn't over-priced.
Without exception the hotel staff were very polite and helpful
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beware of the touts outside the hotel, use taxis from the main road with meter running

The Rembrandt is on a pleasant side street off of Sukhumvit Road. With a little effort
you can find nightlife, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. There are
even two parks that can be accessed for exercise and fresh air. I like the Rembrandt's
service and its convenience. It's priced about right and my stay included Internet and
breakfast. They have a decent sized pool for cooling off. I think you will enjoy it here.
Hotel Feature Tip:
I went up to the Rang Mahal restaurant for a Sunday brunch. It is on the 26th floor so
I especially wanted to see the view. There was nobody there, but because I hadn't made
a reservation I was stuck far from the windows as were some other folk. So, just make a
reservation and you should get a better seat.
Also, the well-known Soi Cowboy is just across Sukhumvit Road.

we had an appointment closeby, in that respect the location was perfect. next to that the connection to bts or mrt is rather good. in front of the hotel there were always taxis available. due to early arrival our room was not ready yet, a temporary room for just a little number of hours was charged bht, not very customerfriendly.

we enjoyed our stay very much. i and my wife enjoyed the breakfast spread which was superb. room was very good and staff were very cooperative and they gave good service. on the whole enjoyed my stay. would definitely like to stay again in my next visit to bangkok.
Restaurant Tip:
Hotel very close to a few good reatuarants.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel and this time was just as good as the first. Clean rooms, nice hotel, nice pool (though we never used it) and a very good breakfast buffet. We ordered room service a couple of times and were very satisfied with the food. We found the staff very friendly and more than happy to help out. Overall we were very satisfied.

This was our second stay here and as good as our first. We had a great time and the hotel was wonderful. Easy to get to Skytrain and really nice staff. Breakfast sets you up for the day!

this hotel is about as good as it gets considering how affordable it is as well as the location. it is also in a very convenient area with plenty of drinking, massage and shopping spots. it also helps that the train station is about 10m walk from the hotel.
