Very clean. Rooms are spacious. Very modern and good interiors. Staff is very polite and courteous.
Most of the guests staying in the hotel are Indians, but sadly there are no Indian T.V. Channels.
Very welcoming on entering the hotel for the first time. Locations is good and easily accessible from the Sky train station.
The staff is very courteous and helpful. Except the staff in the dining room at breakfast time. They were quite rude, specially the chef making eggs.
Sadly, inspite of having a number of Indian guests, the hotel does not have any Indian T.V. channels. Should include atleast Indian news channels.
Nightlife Tip : Good night life near the hotel

professional, polite staff; transportation out to the BTS (train) station; several cheap eating establishments nearby; good food on site; nicely decorated rooms.
expensive wireless internet connection
The Rembrandt is a great place to stay in the heart of Bangkok. There is easy access to the BTS system (skytrain) and a tuk tuk that gives you a ride quite close to the station. The hotel has a calm atmosphere in the midst of the chaos of Bangkok. The piped in bird chirping in the elevator lobby is unique! Rooms include all the typical amenities--hair dryer, shampoo/condition, bubble bath (tub is deep and long!), ironing board and iron. The Rembrandt is my favorite place to stay in Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : The little, Thai-style, open air restaurant directly across the street offers free wireless internet. All you have to do is bring your laptop.

I really enjoy the hotel lobby, the staff at the entrance, the reception and lobby bar. In addition I think that the staff making up the room is very friendly and doing a good job.
It would be good if the "shuttle" tuck-tuck to move to Sukhumvit road would be more available and easier to access. In additon I wait for that this hotel installs free internet access, or at least at a reasonable cost at the hotel rooms. (including the standard "superior rooms". The current internet option is overprized !
I have stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel at several occasions over the past 7-8 years. I feel that the ambience is very nice, comfortable and this time I was specially happy with the recently adjusted lobby bar. The exchange rates when changing money (currency)is one of the services which is "overprized", only an idiot will change money at the hotel. In case this will be viewed as an additional good service for guests, the rates need to be more in line with banks and/or ATM uses. Other wise this service will be wieved as useless by repeat visitors. The breakfast room is very good, with good quality food as well. Th rooms are convenient and the free provided assesories in the bathroom are at high level. The hotel provides a generally god service and teh correct STAR ranking of the hotel is defintely 4+, so no guest booking a 4-star hotel would have any reason to feel misslead.
Restaurant Tip : If you wish to eat some Thai Food (lunch) at very reasonable prices, stop by at the P-Kitchen restaurant less than 50 meters away from the hotel (same side direction Sukhumvit main road).

fantastic service, central location, pool,breakfast
breakfast was expencive.also the hotel could use a "makeover",it gives a somewhat weary impression.a heavy smell of cleaningremedies.
We had an excellent stay at Rembrandt,at a fair price after booking with agoda.fantastic staff from the bell boy to the lady cleaning our room, which really means a lot in such a big hotel. the children were treated as princes, and we got the feeling that also the other guest were enjoying their stay. attention to detail as the key. extra towls for the kids, complimentary babycot, free breakfast for children in company with an adult.nice and quiet poolarea.

The hotel has very nice pool and fitness center. It is close to public transportation to make of the shopping districts and is relatively close to the airport.
The hotel is far from the older parts of the city and better known tourist attractions. It also charges a visitor fee for those who visit guests staying at the hotel. A fee is charged the hotel guest for every visit by any non-hotel guest.
The hotel is very nicely appointed and is a pleasant environment in which to stay. The Red Pepper restaurant has a delicious menu and The Café's breakfast buffet is satisfying. The pool is a true swimming pool long enough to swim laps. Aside from the visitor fee rule, it is a great place to stay.

The Rembrandt is well located and well appointed.
The Executive Suite with its own large balcony overlooking the pool area was excellent.
The buffet breakfast in the coffee shop was good and the service friendly.
The pool area was pleasant.
The breakfast in the executive room was dry and inedible. Service by the pool was sometimes quite slow.
I recommend this hotel as the service was friendly and the large secluded balcony of the Executive Suite was good for sunbathing and for a quiet drink in the evening. The living area in the Executive suite was also good for receiving business clients as well as for entertaining friends.
The pool area was good for relaxing.
This hotel is good for business travellers or families wanting to spend a quiet weekend relaxing and exploring Bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip : Try to book the Executive Suite with its nice living room and large secluded balcony. This made for an excellent place to receive business clients as well as relaxing with friends.

Welcome arrival, beautiful decor, well air conditioned, very clean rooms and well serviced
thought mini bar was expensive, bought a very small bottle of water. thought that was a bit expensive.
Thought the hotel was excellent, we were greeted each time we walked in and out, staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were very very clean and well serviced daily and kept very cool considering the hot and humid temperature outside. Not noisy at all couldn't hear traffic even though we were in the thick of it.
Shopping Tip : close to shops, beauty salon, skytrain

clean, efficient, convenient to Asoke station, polite at all levels of service.
Excellent stay. The senior manager was at the desk during the evenings to give a personal touch. He allowed a late check out as we had a night flight. Breakfast was of a high standard providing a vast array of choices. Complimentary Tuk tuk to Sumkivit road.
Travel tip : Massage service across the road.

Service, Nice newly renovated room, location near skytrain and Metro
the area around is rundown, but construction work may improve this
the sun dissapears early from the pool area.
Prices abit overboard at pool
We have stayed at the REmbrandt 3 times and am happy with the service, nice breakfast buffé and also nice pool area, nice to be able to utalize the gym.into the evening. They are very service minded which makes us feel welcome. We warmly reccomend this hotel to our friends and colleages
Travel tip : The small restaurant on the right hand side serves very good thai food next to it is a nice spa/massage place.

Location, friendly, piped birdsong.
After trying a dozen BKK hotels this is the one I use. Good value, a 10/12 minute walk to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit metro stations. Good breakfast, helpful reception, large clean rooms. I particularly like the piped birdsong. Shuttle to end of Soi 18.

Renovated rooms and lobby
They renovated the lobby and put in a bar. Much nicer than the closed off bar they had first. The renovated rooms were very nice. Clean and fresh
Restaurant Tip : On the backside of the hotel (soi 20) is a new italian restaurant called basilico. They are also on soi 33. Good food and good price.

Old Hotel
Old TV Set
Expensive spa
Reception is quite welcoming with easy and straight forword procedures. The hotel rooms are large enough (around 40m2).The linen is clean and adequate. The bathroom is clean and reliable. Two great restaurants, the Red Chilli peper and the italian restaurants are both a good experience. The hotel is quite old, the TV set is very old with half of the remote functions not functionning. The bath tub is slopped in a way that much of the water goes all the way to the bathroom floor during shower. The prices of spa treatments are quite expensive, for 20 % of the price , one can find a nice spa just 20 meters away from the hotel.
Travel tip : a 20 meter away spa 120 minutes of thai massage for 400 Baht!Excellent experience.
