The taxi driver cannot find this hotel. When we arrival, it hided into the street. The hotel is very old styple. I am not feel the room is good and confortable at all. There are no view at all. The canteen is normal and it is near the market. When we come back from street at night, it did not feel very safe. It is completely different form the photos. I think I will choose other hotel instead of this hotel during my next trip.

convenice for transportation

the hotel is very old and difficult to find.

  • Shopping Tip : It is very convenient to the BTS and the shopping center near the hotel.

I've travelled for business and personal purposes to Bangkok and stayed at 5 stars luxury to 1 star backpaper hotels before. I booked rooms@silom this time because of the price and location, and also since I work for myself now, but regretted the decision when I saw the room. Although huge in size, lighting was poor, and the carpets were old. It looked depressing. Don't get me wrong, price is great for this type of location, but in hind sight I wished I had spent a bit more and chosen a better hotel on agoda.com. Wifi didn't reach the 2nd room I changed to, and it was additional charge. The gym and pool was across a small road in another building so I didn't fancy walking across the lobby in my shorts and tank top or trunks! There was no security in the room and so I had to carry my laptop with me all 7 days. This hotel is good if you really have no budget, but for me the rooms were just too depressingingly old when Bangkok had changed and improved so much. Spend that extra dollar and book a better hotel, or until the mgmt of this hotel upgrades the rooms and hotel premises. Good point is that the staff were polite and small tips of 20 bht were enough to see their grateful appreciative smile.

Great location. Big rooms. Staff service prompt and sincere.

State of the rooms and hotel corridor - depressing. Tv set old, wi-fi had viruses, broken shower head, old carpet, smelly (mouldy) corridors.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Breakfast if included - go for the Japanese restaurant's set meal. Don't go for the buffet at the Foodie cafe - not nice!

Hotel is located in a good spot close to the skytrain--definite positive. Price was very good but the hotel is in much need of refreshing. Very old. Rooms tidy and clean, bathroom in need of repair (tub would not drain). Doorman staff friendly and helpful. Staff at front desk were hit and miss. On arrival not friendly, on check out, very friendly. Some consistency would be nice.

Very cheap.

Old hotel in need of repairs.

  • Shopping Tip : Hop on the skytrain to the weekend market. Not to be missed.

Nice,Comfort Room with short walk to Silom Road, Patpong Area about 5 minute. Very close to Chong Nong Si, BTS Handy, about 300 m only. Suprised nice mall next to it Trinity Complex, and market stalls on street where you can find lots of nice cheap stuff, Breakfast all right. Good Budget Hotel.

Good Location to Shops and Entertainment and BTS. Room still use Key so it won't cut all power when you get out so the air con still running cold when you come back.

No in-room safes. Need to upgrade TV.

Excellent accommodation: the room was clean, well arranged and just comfortable. Fine customer service, the staff was extremely cordial and responsive. Simple but helpful. The restaurant served sumptuous breakfast and the best cuisine. The location was fantastic. You literally walk out of the hotel into a sea of shopping activity. A haven for retail indulgence, yet inside the hotel it is so so quiet and serene. Would definitely recommend as a top spot and great value for money. I would definitely return.

Location, accommodation and customer service.

None.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Please go up Silom road to visit one of the best kept secrets of the area, the Uma Devi Temple. It is so amazing! And the Patpong market is just round the corner.

The hotel posseses a charm that propels it beyond its 3 star rating. The coffee house and newly opened Japanese restaurant provides a certain glamour that is chic and cool. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall ambience of a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This would truly be a gem in the middle of downtown Bangkok, if the rooms are refurbished and given a brighter look. Overall, the experience is highly recommended, and I have made this my preferred choice of stay when in Bangkok.

Convenience, Ambience, Proximity to markets and shopping

Condition of rooms

  • Restaurant Tip : Abundance of local food (vis a vis street food) which you will not get at 5 star hotels

We were coming around midnight. Staff was very helpful. Our request to find us a driver to Hua Hin was given quickly. Will definitely come back as the location is very convenient, near BTS Chong Nonsi.

Good size room, great location, helpful staff

Bit dated. Breakfast was so so.

This place is a pit! The wall paper is peeling in the rooms. The beds had ants in them, as did the bathrooms. There were big water stains on the ceiling. The breakfast was short on choices. The pool was across the street. It was hard to find. It is near the sky train and 3 7-11s.

Near the sky train. There was one very nice desk clerk who spoke some English.

We had three rooms in as many days. There were ants in the beds and the air condition blew the fuse in the room. Not good in 90 degree plus heat. Breakfast was horrid. It was difficult to find.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near the sky train.
