good service, quite postion
Difficult to find, not in area as described
Described as Khosan area but 10 min taxi away. The hotel is a good standard through out with excellant service, good comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. We were happy to pay the small amount is cost (£1) for taxis to get a better standrad hotel away from the noise late at night. I would recommend this hotel if you are sightseeing, the tour desk can organise any trips required.
Hotel Feature Tip : Taxis find it difficult to find I had to give every taxi driver directions get 2 maps in Thai and English

The hotel was probably once very grand however it is a little dated and old now - although very clean and comfortable.
The pool area is nice and also clean.
Locations isnt brilliant - need to get taxis to most places and nothing really in the immediate area.

Good service, nice rooms and good foods. The staff was very kind.
There should have been water cooker at the rooms.
We was 4 people in two double rooms. Everybody was satisfied with the hotel the service and the staff. Nothing to claim.

Room Size, Cleanliness, Service.
Staff speak little english, pool in shade nearly most of the day.
The Hotel was very clean and only a Short bus ride / Taxi to Khao San Road, which was great because you were out of the way from all the hussle and bussle of it all, Bus No's 511 & 516 A/C 12bht from hotel. Beware of the guy at the Taxi Desk out side the front door he will offer to take you places and you will end up somewhere else (Tailors or fake TAT office) The Lady who welcomes you to breakfast has to be one of the nicest people in the hotel speaks a few different langauages and is very helpful, Breakfast is very nice as it is included in the price. And the price is great for this hotel, would deffinatly stay there again, be careful of taxis take the hotel business card with you, has address in thai on it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try getting the Bus and/or Train to some of the places I.e Ayutthaya (Ancient City) saved a fortune doing it on our own and got to see more of it.

Cheap, Clean, Spacious. I didn't encounter any problems. Good value.
Linen a little threadbare but clean. Breakfast was very average but plentiful.
My stay was brief and non-problematic. The hotel was quite good value considering its low price and the staff were fine. Breakfast wasn't fabulous but then couldn't expect much for price. My only real complaint is the cigarette smell in the room. FIne for a budget stay. Nice and close to Pinklao shopping.
Hotel Feature Tip : Reasonably close to Yanhee hospital.

inexpensive, close to Central Pinklao, large-space car park.
male employees have no service mind (e.g. no smiling, hardly having someone to open the doors at the entrance), forcing customers to leave their belongings outside of the cafe where they have breakfast, far from the city, unmaintained gym and swimming pool, the Internet is charged too expensive, a light outside of the window cannot be controlled (i.e. guests cannot turn them off at night)
This hotel is maintained well except their facilities, such as gym an swimming pool where there is no staff to be stationed. Equipment in the gym is also unsafe. In particular, there is no lock to prevent iron plate from falling down when one is doing barbell bench press. The hotel is closed to some famous restaurants (e.g. Por kungpao), which is a good place to have seafood dishes and beers. For those who want to travel into the city and wish to stay in this hotel, a map with bus routes is recommended.
Restaurant Tip : There are a few seafood restaurants especially prawn that you may want to try if you do not know how to get to China Town.

It was my first time in khaosan area, but too far from khaosan road, but the hotel was nice and had everything; good restaurants, nice pool sauna and spa, the room was big, nice and clean, the bathroom was nice too. Breakfast was one of the best i had this time in Bangkok, and i tried their buffet, it was great.
Shopping Tip : Just take a taxi to khaosan road, there you'll find everything.

Friendly service, Choice of restaurants, good buffet breakfast, powerful jacuzzi, nice pool, great room and view.
Expensive small beer in restaurants 110/20bht! Traffic jams to and from BKK over the river. Hotel is very near noisy expressway. Petty overcharging of minibar beer left bad taste on departure. Canned beer price 70bht but charged 89bht. When queried said tax but tax should be only 10% as 7%VAT charged on final amount (Still would not add-up!)
This is the best hotel in this price range I have stayed in in BKK. The bedrooms in all the others have disappointed despite fantastic outward appearance, foyer, restaurant, swimming pool etc..But here no dirty or frayed carpets, no damp smell or mouldy bathrooms tiles or ceilings. The room and friendly service was great with a fantastic view from the 19th floor. Great pool and gym & jacuzzi included. Best fish in White wine sauce in Thailand so far!
Restaurant Tip : Good 99baht Thai seafood barbecue all you can eat buffet 30baht taxi ride down the road same side towards the river -also shopping malls, Tescos, street market same direction same vicinity.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s easy to get a metered taxi just outside the hotel. Although the area around the hotel is mostly residential, you can go to the Central Pinklao shopping mall for restaurants. Better food and cheaper that to hotel restaurant.
If you plan to enjoy the Bangkok night life or souvenir shopping, the hotel’s location is too far for you. If you are in the Center of Bangkok, and there is rain, you will not find a taxi to bring you back to this hotel. The bathroom in this hotel is awful! Bath water will not drain properly. I changed rooms twice, but the problem is in ALL the rooms!
I stayed at this hotel ONLY because it was located near my relative’s home. So, I know the area AND speak fluent Thai. The ONLY reason why I would not return to this hotel is the bathrooms. I cannot recommend this hotel, but I would not say it a bad choice.
Restaurant Tip : Go to the Central Pinklao shopping mall, there are plenty of restaurants to choose.
