Staffs' courteousness, hotel's cleanliness, strategic location
I really like the friendliness of all the staffs at the hotel. They tried their best to help us. However, the room was not well lit. The room is clean and well organized.
| An Impressive Hotel for modest cost. |

The hotel provided a great buffet breakfast including both American and Asian food. The swimming pool was a real bonus after a hot day round Bangkok. Only a short walk to lively Khao San Road but it was a quiet retreat. The staff were pleasant and helpful and offered us the swimming pool shower after we'd checked out. They allowed us to leave our luggage after check out time for a minimal fee.
My main dislike was the roads we had to cross to get to the hotel. There was a busy roundabout. The accessive taxi rates in the hotel foyer and the very expensive Internet. In need of a touch of paint in places.
This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Bangkok. Good friendly service, lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. I always ate too much! Great swimming pool, cafe, massage facilities. Our room was quiet even though it was on the front and had a good bathroom, fridge TV and adequate balcony. It would have been nice to have had a couple of small chairs to put on the balcony though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's within easy walking distance for Khao San Road and The Grand Palace and a moderate walk to the ferry points which we found so useful. The ferry is an easy way to access the Sky Train which connects with the subway and main railway thereby providing cheap efficient accessto other sites around the city including Chatuchak Market which has over 10,000 stalls at the weekend.
