good location, just 5 minutes from nana and 10 minutes from skytrain. i had a good promotion at € 20 per night. good breakfast. I would recommend this hotel because it is in a very good location, but still it is very quite. everything in close distance. restaurant quite good. the only unexpected issue was that they ask for a joyner fee if you want to bring back a lady... rather than that i could not say anything against this hotel, also because i got a very good offer.

close to nana,and annies massage,free wifi,good food,helpfull staff,,5 min walk to sky train,see lot bangkok then,walk to soi cowboy,about 10 min
will use again,reccomend ,top notch all round package,nice place taxi men out side keep asking you for lifts

good breakfast,close to sky train,annies massage 3 mins away,good for night life,nana plaza and soi cowboy,jump on sky train and explore,runs 6 am to midnight,get a day pass,120 baht ,jump on and off all day long ,see loads stuff
good shower and room.
have good sleep then explore bangkok

Good hotel great location, staff very friendly, rooms large and clean restaurant does both thai and western cuisine, i have already re-booked for my next trip in 3 weeks time. I would recommend this hotel.

- there are internet stations, but nobody tells u - very good situated in bkk, not far away from nightlife (walking distance) and quiet anyway.
- nice rooms with every comfort u need
- breakfast buffet is ok
- taxis u better take in the main street, travel agency try to organize u expensive limos

The Internet connection was worse than having no internet at all! I've stayed in this area several time and switched here because of the free breakfast and the WiFi in the room. Well the Internet connection was worse than having no internet at all!
Still good value, good location, clean and the staff was great too. I used the travel agency there also, they did a good job finding a great air rate for me.
But I wouldn't stay here if you've got to actually get work done on the internet.

Always friendly and good price, i have stayed at this hotel many times of past 5 years. Great for a night or afew days.
Good location to get to most places in Bangkok. And only 300thb from airport if you a meter taxi. When leaving use a meter as they charge 500/600thb. Nice big rooms and beds with friendly happy staff. Breakefast if basic but adequate.
Nightlife Tip : Nana plaza always a giggle for a few beers, so if raining you do not need to leave the street

location, price, proximity to stores, skytrain, good food and shopping noisy dog next door that barks all night We have stayed at the Royal Ivory on numerous visits to Bangkok. It is nice because it is on soi4 off sukumvit, but far enough down soi 4 so the noise from bars and traffic are not heard much. It is a short walk to 7-11 stores, lots of good street food and the arab section for middle east food. it is close to the Nana skytrain stop also. there are grocery stores and laundries and internet places nearby and if the residence next door to the hotel can be persuaded to bring their dog inside at night so it doesn't keep you up all nigh barking, that side of the hotel would be ok for sleeping.
Restaurant Tip : The arab section is nearby on soi3 and there is good food there.

Large room, friendly efficient staff This is the fourth hotel i have stayed while in BKK this trip and it is by far the best. Even though it is situated on Sukhumvit Soi 4 (Nana) it is far enough away from the bars etc to be quiet. The room is large, bathroom good. The housekeeping staff are very efficient and courteous. Breakfast, buffet style is plentiful with good variety. Free internet is fast and reliable. I liked this place that much that I booked for another week and will probably extend that again.

This hotel, The Royal Ivory, Nana, has nice big deluxe king rooms with a small kitchennette. It is close to sukhumvit on Soi 4 and easy access to shopping, skytrain, street food and 7-11. The side of the hotel next to the residence can be noisy at night because of barking dogs and a peacock. I have stayed at this hotel before and this is new. I had to ask to be moved to the other side of the hotel because I could not sleep due to the barking dogs. The beds are OK, but might consider new mattresses in the near future. I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occaisions and like the service, the location and the large deluxe kingsize rooms. the price is reasonable and the location is good. Near to food, shopping, skytrain and arab section for good midlle east food as well as lots of street food in the area. Lively night life nearby, yet the hotel is far enough down Soi 4 to be fairly quiet. I will probably stay here again.
Restaurant Tip : The Arab section is nearby on Soi 3 off sukhumvit for good middle east food.

I recently stay there for 3 nights and found the hotel to be a very good value. Breakfast was included and the room was large, clean, and serviced well. and free internet access. Close to all the clubs and shopping.
Nightlife Tip : Hotel is in the quiet area of Nana but close to all the clubs and shopping.

very good location, everything near the street is not for kids breakfast is poor. The hotel is very centrally located in sukhumvit, though the road is not to be explored with kids at night. Everything very near...internet, laundry facilities, restaurants and the hotel has a very friendly staff and a good hair saloon.
The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the main street, and the public transfer facilities are very good and available right on the mainroad.
Certainly value for money and when i am visiting bangkok...i will most definitely book this hotel again!
Restaurant Tip : Visit the 7 seas restaurant in the same street. food is very good

Close to Sukhumvit,Nice Thai decor,Nice Resturant,Wifi Access Very pleasent hotel close to Sukhumvit so everything you need is at hand, close to Sukhumvit Rd and the BTS for getting about on. Nice Thai decor, Pleasent Staff only stayed the 1 night due to travelling but came back and booked last night before travelling home, provides a booking desk for taxis which we used and found to be cheap and efficient

Aircon not working properly, lifts are not clean Aircon is not working properly & Lifts are not clean, Staff are friendly. Bad Smell inside the room and near the Lifts. Buffet Breakfast is good. I dont recommend to stay in this hotel

It’s a very cordial atmosphere in the Hotel. The rooms are more than comfortable and designed to give the best facilities to the customers. The rooms are really excellent in terms of size, kitchen, wi fi internet connectivity, cabinets, mini bars, crockery, bathrooms etc etc. It’s the very nice place to pass time. There are few options to make development in this price. But the lobby can be rearranged and be separated from the shops. The waiters in the restaurant during the breakfast time could be more cordial. When the fruit bowl were empty and asked for fruits the waiter denied to supply more. My experience in the hotel is excellent. The hotel is situated very close to the main road but in a silent environment. A very nice environment and friendly behavior of the front desk are really unforgettable. I enjoyed the room and its facilities which is really outstanding. I really liked and hope to visit again. I think its a very good place for both family & business people to stay within all kinds of facilities like, big space of the room, mini bar, kitchen, dressing area, safe lock, reading or dining table, wi fi internet etc. etc.
