Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Low cost Good location

Cleanliness Unfriendly reception

The hotel is located at the business district Sukhumvit of Bangkok and is easily accessible. This hotel is a bit agedly, it cleanliness definitely need to be improved and the room is rather too dim for me. In addition, hotel reception who served me was impolite. Please remember to bring along your own shower foam as the one supplied in the room is just way too diluted.

inexpensive, good service

bit of a walk down the soi

Although a bit of a walk down the soi from Sukhumvit, the hotel is generally nice. The service was good, the concierge particularly helpful. Our air con leaked on the first night and they had it fixed smartly. Very popular with Indian families - there must be a special relationship with tour companies, but this means there are some excellent restaurants nearby if you like Indian food! Yum!

Spaces and location walking distance to BTS.

Lobby needed a face lift, breakfast should have more varieties with better presentation

Hotel rate is value for money, however overall area needed a facelift as hotel is spaces so its worth doing refurbish. Location is pretty good and near to BTS. Staff are friendly and polite to hotel guests. Bedsheets and pillow cases are clean and housekeeping staff are helpful too. Will consider to stay again next trip.

Travel tip : various services shops are around and near to BTS station.

Location and price

Room decorations are "tired"

The hotel is in a very good location. It is within a five minute walk of Emporium shopping centre and Benjasiri Park. There are plenty of local restaurants and it is close to BTS for access to other areas of the city. The staff are very helpful. Room rates are very good.

Shopping Tip : Emporium shopping centre very close.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet district for expats. Nice resturants in the area and very calm. The hotel staffs are a great bunch of very helpful and friendly people, they even remembered your room no. just from recognision.

No complaints for the amount of money you pay.

A great view if you live on the higher levels. Wonderful location - nice and calm district if you like living on the quieter part of Sukhumvit for a good night's rest. Wonderful location if you know the short cut to Phrom Phong station.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Never say yes to taxi-drivers that doesn't use their meters and quote you a price of at least 200bahts. It might be cheap to us, BUT it's where the local thais will hate you for spoiling their market. I have to ask taxi drivers to drop me off, when they do that!!

good location,

restaurant

the royal park view hotel is a nice hotel, well located in downtown bangkok. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are big and they are clean. If you have rooms on the top floors you can get a very good view of the area. The rooms are clean and the room service is adequate. There is a decent swiming pool on the 9th floor and also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi does not work very well. There is a decent fitness room and massages are available. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you want quiet and good location

good location

restaurant

The royal parkview is a very nice hotel located in the core of Sukhumvit. It is quiet, and is close to the emporium shopping center and all the big shopping plazas like Siam Paragon, MBK etc.. It is a 10 minute walk to the Asoke skytrain or the MRT. There are many good eating places all around the area. The service is friendly and courteous. I always stay at the Royal Parkview when I go to Bangkok. The restaurant is expensive for the quality of food. You can get much better if you go outside nearby the hotel.

Location is right off Sukhumvit and near Asok skytrain station

Dirty rooms and windows, few electrical outlets, business center way too expensive, staff attempting to extort money from guests.

I ordered a deluxe room, but hotel staff attempted to assign me a standard room and see if I would accept it (which I did not - if you stay here, make sure to insist upon the type of room you reserved no matter what staff tell you). The room I got was dirty, looked and smelled very old, and the window had not been washed in some time. There are much better options in the area.

it's located in the center of Bangkok.

The cleanness of the room wasn't that neat.

It's located in the center of Bangkok. It 's convenient to go everywhere. Only 10 mins walk to skytrain and metro. The price is value for money. However, the room wasn't cleaned properly but not that bad just only a little bit. I think overall is good and I will go back to stay there again when I visit Thailand.

Not far from BTS and metro. It's located in the center of Bangkok.

It's a little bit dull and dirty but not that much.

The hotel was a little bit dirty. The staffs were nice and good command in English. Not far from BTS and metro, located in the center of Bangkok. The snack bar in the room wasn't charged that expensive. Overall aspects were good. I think this hotel were fine. The price wasn't expensive.

Close to Sukhumvit (so are plenty others though)

Food. Service (or lack of), cleanliness, general standard of rooms and hotel.

You must be insane to want to stay here. One example - the massage ladies called me at 1am - when I was sleeping of course to ask me if I wanted a massage - at 1am!!!!! They got told what I thought about their massage. The rooms are old. The mattresses are not cumfy - you can feel the springs sticking out. The airconditining is so noisy that you can not sleep. The toilet and bathroom are dirty. Also hairs in the plug holes. The towels are awful - ripped and stained - I wouldnt let my dog use their towels. The swimming pool is dirty; and the jaccuzi didnt have any water in it. The fitness suite is totally underequipped. The food is awful and extremely overpriced - especially breakfast. McDonalds is better. If you want to have a visitor to your room - they charge you 1000 Baht. I could almost buy another room for that price!! This is an old run down horrible place. DO NOT STAY HERE. So many other good choises around - all at good value.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : See crocodile park - very good.
