Easy Access to SkyTrain

Given bad rooms twice before we were put in decent room.
When we arrived we were shown to our room and told that we had to vacte the room by 10.00 and stay away till 16.00 due to a water problem. We were then given a large room in an annexe building. The room had cockroaches. Finally after having to complain, we were given a very nice room - this should have been done immediately, without us having to argue. From there on all was fine

Overall this is an ok hotel to stay in. Would consider again.
Internet in your room is seperate fee, as was the breakfast apparently if booked via Agoda
Put in a Junior suite in the wing, which is seperate from main part of hotel around the corner across a small street. It takes about 2 minute to reach by foot. At first this felt odd, as no reception etc in the wing, but actually it felt ok if you want less hassle and peace and quite away from main stream part of hotel. Was in an upgraded part of this wing in a junior suite with nice TV and washing machine and small cooking hob. It looked like other rooms were also about to be upgraded, so be careful to make sure you ask for and get an upgraded room if placed in the wing. The junior suite is big, but a bit dark as buildings around it on all sides less than 3 meters away. Overall this was a nice and quite place to stay. Also has a small gym in main part of hotel with two running machines and a few weight training machines. The pool looked smallish but ok, but may suffer from being in shadow most of day and its not in a very private spot really, overlooked by many rooms etc and reception area.

- Large room

- Horrible lift
- Tailors on Soi always hassle
The major issue with the Royal President was that they put us in a seperate 'tower'. The Royal President seemed fine, but we booked a suite unaware that we would be put in shabby accommodation about 100m from the hotel itself. The building smelt bad, looked shabby and seemed more like cheap furnished apartments than a nice hotel. Nowhere near 4*. However, the restaurant was nice and I can't complain about the room size - it was really big. All in all, a bit of a let down.
