Good breakfast, friendly polite service, clean well appointed rooms, not too expensive. Outdoor pool and indoor gym.

Sun terrace only within view of the sun until around 1.00pm, windows leaked in heavy downpour one night.

The Royal President is 5 mins walk from the main Sukhumvit Road with all its street markets and numerous places to eat and drink. If you don't fancy the walk the hotel has its own 'shuttle' vehicle free of charge for short distances. Either we had quiet neighbours or the sound insulation was good, comfortable well appointed rooms.

fantastic hotel, room size, value, location

name

Great hotel to hate to give away this secret, but i have stayed three times and have been rewarded everytime. best location, quiet, and only a 1$ cab ride to the subway and train, at asoke. no thai person can say the word "President" everybody says "HUHHHH?" very dificult with taxis. Easiest is just to say manhattan and tell them to go on down the street.

Hotel Feature Tip : if you are more than one person take a taxi to the train station. its just a bit too far to walk with children. if you are by yourself just walk, the taxi fare is only 1$ and the more peope the cheaper it is.

spacious rooms, service from staff, location on Suhkumvit Rd.

None

This was my second stay at the Royal President and was satisfied each time. The location is excellent. Near the BTS and Asoke Station, as well as, almost central location to everything on Suhkumvit Road. The staff were friendly and efficient and room service is always spot on. The little shop located off the lobby is stocked with just about anything you may need. The birthday card left in my room was also a pleasant surprise. Will continue to stay at the Royal President.

friendly and helpfull staff. The soi tuktuk is a good feature with a good driver. Rooms are clean, menu and room service are ok. Price for the room was good.

The only thing that i can say that was wrong was the noise from some construction they were doing. It was only during the day. But it started around 8 am and keeeps you from being able to sleep in. As with all hotels the laundry price is outrageous. One block down an one block over (200m) there is a laundry dry clean place that does it for 20% 1/5 the price of the hotel.

There is nothing extra ordinary about this building. The staff make it a good place. This is true about many thai establishments. friendly and helpfull staff. The soi tuktuk is a good feature with a good driver. Rooms are clean, menu and room service are ok. Price for the room was good. Shopping Tip : Its not really a shopping tip, but it will save you a little. There is a very good laundry dry cleaning place 200m away from the hotel that charges 1/5 the price of the hotel.

good food, convenient location, attentive staff, comfy free tuk-tuk

the elevator music, slim movie selection

I had a great stay at the RPH. The staff was lovely. The breakfast buffet was good. The room was modern and comfortable, but without much of a view. Also, the CD player didn't work. However, when the DVD player did not work with the TV, the helpful staff brought a NEW TV! Room service food was excellent and reasonable. Skytrain (Asoke & Nana) were within a quick walk (5-10 mins), and in the other direction, Soi 15 runs into the Saen Sap Canal from which you can take a canal taxi. Quite a ride!

Restaurant Tip : Go to Mrs. Balbir's Indian restaurant at the top of Soi 11/1. Deeply delecious food with a very personal touch.

They had a kitchen in the apartment and you own dvd player with a good collection of dvds to borrow. They also had a pool and a sun terrace. Offered a shuttle ride to the skytrain stops.

Lots of building going around so gets a little bit noisy. No real pavements to walk on between the hotel and the skytrain stops. No free wifi in the rooms.

This was a really lovely hotel with friendly reception staff. I got the impression the guests were mostly business rather than travelers. But the atmosphere and service was as good as any hotel. It was in a good location midway between Asok and Nanas and there was a shuttle bus to take you to both. It had it's own cafe and mini-mart and a really lovely pool to take a morning or evening dip in. Overall would thoroughly recommend it was excellent value for money and a real gem.

Shopping Tip : There is a good pharmacy and ATM around the corner.

Location Staff Food Room and amenities

Internet went down temporarily

I definitely plan to stay here when I return to Bangkon. Very nice room, amenities, and the staff are great. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and the restaurant meals delivered to my room were hot and delicious.

Shopping Tip : Some the finest malls I've been in are not far from this hotel. It's also near the skyway.

Very nice rooms and pleasant staff.

The swimming pool was too small if you like to swim laps.

Very nice place to stay at with a convient location in the city and great rooms. The royal President was well priced, well kept and had very helpfull staff. On business or holiday it is a nice place to stay.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is walking distance to the train and is visitor friendly.

There are alot Cockroaches in the rooms and Staff are not helpful at all. There are alot of Dodgy cab drivers that wait outside the front of the hotel and harassed us every time we walked outside.

Will never stay here again. We spoke to other hotel guests also who were disappointed with the hotel service also

Travel tip : When a Cab driver tells you he will take you on a 1 hour tour for 10baht refuse to get in as he will take you to place so he can earn commission.

The location is convenient to access everywhere. It's 5 min to Sukumvit by walking.

When I check in the hotel,Despite of the crows, the staff were only two,So I had to wait a little.

Frankly speaking,The Royal President was huge great, the room I stayed this time was Deluxe Suite 7F in Garden wing,Separate 2 room,Decoration of the room was simple,so make me be relax,The view was normal but quiet. and Laundry was just expensive a little,I think we don't need the package each items though.Internet was useful 500 Bath per 2 days.it's easy to use.

Nightlife Tip : It's 10 min by walk to Nana entertainment Plaza, and Soy Cow Boy.And near Asok station, there were many Thai-massage and over there Korean restaurants, and 7 eleven,Subway were quite near.

Great location. Spacious Rooms. Ananda Spa very close.

Free wireless only in lobby. Kitchenette seems old and bit worn down.

Hotel was very nice for its price. The rooms were big and spacious as well as the bathrooms. Furnishings seemed a bit worn down but not really bad at all. Location was great! Hotel offered free tuk-tuk service. Ananda Spa was very close. Only real negative was free wireless was only available in the lobby and while I was there it has some logging on issues.
