Tired looking, expensive breakfast if you have to pay, there is absolutely nothing to do within walking distance. I chose this hotel because it was relatively close to wherever I wanted to go. The public areas of the hotel are nice, but the hallways and my room needed painting and a little sprucing up. I had read the Agoda reviews, so I knew that the hotel was in a quiet area and not within walking distance of anything. I usually walk a lot so I thought I would still be able to walk places, but the reviews were right. However, the taxi was always available and relatively inexpensive. I also knew that Internet was not free. I need the Internet for work, so just paid the 1,000 baht for my five days. Oh, and each page you print costs also.

We chose this hotel to be in a different location from the typical river front hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't care much for the location of the property - there were no views to speak of and while it was close enough to Jim Thompson's house and the National Museum, the neigbborhood wasn't that interesting. By far, this was the largest room we'd stayed in during our 2 weeks in Thailand which was nice. Unfortunately, we weren't aware that we had access to a shuttle to / from the airport and other places until we left so we had to barter for a taxi or tuk tuk each time. Close grocery market and small souvenir shop near by. Large pool but we didn't use it.

Nice room. Central location without the noise. Very friendly and helpful staff No free internet. Expensive breakfast. Expensice travel agency The hotel was a nice stay in general. A pretty high standard with a fair price. The Biggest concern was the travel agancy located in the hotel. We bought a trip to Hua Hin and was told that floating market was included. When we showed up at the market they wanted to charge 1000 Baht per person! So do not use that service
