Breakfast,being close to the river and having the free boat service The standard rooms could do with a little up dating, eg. better TV's and Coffee/Tea making facilities. The walk up to the hotel could be made safer for pedestrians/guests.
Our stay at the royal river was enjoyable and good value for money. We liked the location being close to the river with a free boat sevice to River Pier, just wished it could have stopped along the way. The reception staff however were not very frendly which is the last impression when leaving, we would return to this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There is an excellent little restaurant just outside (on the main road before the bridge)the hotel which is worth trying.

Clean, friendly staff. Price wise OK A good hotel at not so good location. West side of Bangkok with rather easy access to Ko San Road but a long taxi drive to Airport and down town. Value for money is OK. Staff is good and the hotel feel safe.

The customer service was excellent. I travelled alone and arrived at 3am. The staff helped me so much and were very pleasant. The Superior room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. Everything i expected. To be perfectly honest, I cant complain about anything. Except maybe a little more Australian food on the menu.lol my stay at Royal River Hotel Bangkok was very pleasent. I was travelling by myself, and had a procedure done at Yahnee Hospital, So this Hotel was very close and convenient to everything I needed. The staff were very nice and helpful when I came back to my room after the hospital, as I was very sore, they helped me with my bags and helped with little things like puuting phone on my bed so I call reach it and call if i needed help or room service. The Hotel was clean and very welcoming. I will be recommending all my friends to stay there when they are visiting Bangkok.
