Had a great time the service was excellent and the food good nice restaurants and good atmosphere.

Good service, great people, excellent food.

Taxis difficult to get.

Royal River Hotel is very close to the river, you can watch the river from your window. There are several nice restaurants and bars in walking distance and close to the river. You can enjoy very local style food there. The hotel is a little bit far from the city center, but you can take boating from a dock which is also in walking distance to the famous sites like grand palace. You can also take hotel's boat to enjoy the night view along the river. Overall speaking, this hotel is very good, very quiet and clean. I recommend this hotel to my friends

Closeness to YanHee Hospital. Nice to be out of town a bit, but too far away if you want shopping.

• Travel tip : Only 5 mins drive from YanHee Hospital. Extra extra large rooms.

We were a trio of females aged 54, 26 and 28. We felt safe. Even though hotel located on "old" side of river, this was not detrimental in location. Staff was very accomodating. In fact, my daughter admired one of the ladies' earrings & she gave it to my daughter. It was a very sweet gesture.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A must-see is the Tiger Temple. We booked a tour and were able to walk with tigers. The extra price to hold and get photos of the tigers is well worth it.

Royal River felt more like a four-star hotel that you would find in Bangkok.

This hotel looks as if it has been recently renovated. Lobby, restaurant and room are very clean. Deluxe room is quite large and beautiful, and we enjoyed a nice river view.

If you want a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok but just a short taxi ride away, this hotel is fine.

• Shopping Tip : There is a small shop at the end of the hotel drive to purchase drinks, snacks, etc. instead of paying mini-bar prices.

Very nice,sitting on the balcony in the evening, looking over the river and the town.

It was adequate for our three day stay and reasonably priced.

• Shopping Tip : Don't use hotel taxi service as they are half price just outside the gates, agree the price beore you get in.

We have been 5 times in this hotel. We always feel good. Nice and friendly stuff include the pool service! Only taxi service in front is a little bit bad, because the translate wrong, we got 2 times the wrong place by taxi! But the hotel taxi service is o.k.! We enjouyed everything. Restaurant - good meals - good price. River Cruising is funny and very good! Rooms, especially riverside are top, good sightseeing! We love this hotel and come again and again! You can com by taxi to many different good places - most not far away!

You can go by taxi very fast to many important Sightseeing points. Speed boat also available nearby. Also nearby with taxi southern bus station and Central Business Centre! On Speed boat is a very good restaurant - Kanab Nam. Easy to walk, only 5 minutes to go!

The fitness room is small and the equipment is old and some are not ok.! On Pool could be newer deckchairs!
