The hotel is very modern in design, and caters well to backpackers looking to stay somewhere that's a bit classier but still has a reasonable price tag. The ladies' floor and dorms in particular were very appealing.

What can I say? Without Saphaipae, my visits to Bangkok wouldn't have been the same. I stayed on the three separate occasions during my 3 & 1/2 weeks in Thailand. It was like a second home. Most comfortable bed I slept in throughout my entire trip. Only a 5min walk from the Surasak sky train station, getting to and from the airport is super simple and day trips into downtown Bangkok are a breeze and cost roughly $1US. Saphaipae is THE backpackers hub not on Khao San Rd. which is a plus for me. So, if you want to meet new ppl, have a good time but also feel safe in a laid back environment this is the place for you. I made many friends and would definitely go back. And the staff; so helpful. Everyone at the front desk speaks English with very easy check-in/out. Thanks again! Kob koon kap!!

its very close to the surasak bts station which made my life so much easier, and the room, bathroom, everything is pretty clean. one thing is its more like a cheap hotel than a hostel, i barely found any world traveller but many midage old people which kinda upset me coz i travelled alone and i wanna meet some new friends to travel with and share our stories

I spent 2 nights at Saphaipae hotel. I come to know the hotel by recommendation of my colleague. Generally I like the hotel much and will definitely come for stay again. However there's a few point I would like to point out. The wash area was a bit stuffy and it makes me feel a lil not comfy. The rooms are also dimly lit which I think more lights shall be provided.

I normally stay at Saphaipae and my parents came to visit me in Thailand. I was hesitant about booking lodging at this hotel/hostel because of the younger crowds, but they loved it! They loved meeting people from all over the place, especially my Mom who went up to the beautiful 6th floor terrace to smoke and chatted up people from all over the world. I booked a private room for them and I admit that you can find rooms about 400 baht cheaper with nicer amenities in Bangkok, but with the on site laundry machines, inexpensive coffee cafe downstairs, and close access to the Surasak BTS it's hard to pass up.
