location Khaosan road. cheap rates if you are in a tight budget
location....walking to a dirty alley to get there
Picked this hotel because of the cheap rates....wrong....should have paid the additional $5.00 to stay at the other sawasdee half a block away. The room is so small we had no stack our luggages on top of each other to fit. Two people cannot be the bathroom at the same time...too small. The bed is lumpy and you have to make sure the door lock latches well otherwise it has a tendency to open by itself. Otherwise the staff are really nice but I won't stay here again. Breakfast very limited choices.
Restaurant Tip : Airport shuttle at the end of the street costs 150 baht. Cheap food on the streets but be careful with the fried chicken street food stalls the locals tend to handle it with their hands when trying to pick one they like. Otherwise enjoy the street foods they are one of the best in the world.

Good choice for budget travellers as the hotel is located at the heart of Bangkok and in walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping areas.
Of course not clean and tidy
Really a good choice for budget travellers as it is located at the heart of Bangkok city. Convenient to go to restaurants, bars and shopping areas along Khaosan Road. Recommend you to stay here for few days and join local tours to Ayuttaya, River Kwei etc. Don't expect that it's clean & tidy, but in general you would find that acceptable and value for money.
