We stay at this hotel every time we come to bangkok. The staff this time was new and for some reason was not trained well and we didnt enjoy our reception and such. We still plan on staying there as we are accustomed to the location which is convenient to our local eating places and easy to get a taxi to the airport. Breakfast is good which is free and the staff there is good but understaffed. they have now internet service again which was missing on our last visit. Its right next to a night club that parties all night long but in our room we cant hear much. Its a great place to stay given your needs and for us its so convenient for transit.
Travel tip : Siam resturant which is just down the street is a good place for eating.

Very Cheap, Clean, Feels Safe
It's obviously not super deluxe, you get what you pay for
We mostly stayed in 3-4 star hotels while in Thailand, but decided to save some money in Bangkok. This place is good value for what you pay.. the breakfast is fine, the staff are nice, and it is clean and safe. It's right near Koh San Road, but I couldn't hear the noise from my room. The room obviously wasn't as nice as the other places we stayed, but it was a third of the price. We payed an extra dollar for the superior room and it was worth it... the room is almost 2X the size (and still not large by any means). I would definitely recommend this place (for backpackers used to cheaper accomodation it would even be a good splurge).

Very noisy, the music bar next door was going all night one of the nights we stayed
Good value for money, the room was clean and the receptionist was friendly. Breakfast was ok could be improved. Good location, although the music bar next door was on til 6 00 one of the mornings. Would stay here again in the future
