Good price!
The fridge smelled a bit funny :) Nothing fancy (as this is a hostel), so no facilities like a pool, gym, etc.
Food = not good. The yellow curry was pretty gross
Not close to Skytrain (though cabs are cheap)
When first booking a hotel in Bangkok, my friend and I were looking to stay at a nice hotel (since they're not THAT expensive anyways) and enjoy the perks... i.e. pool and breakfast. Turns out that we spend very little time in the hotel, so we wouldn't have used them anyways. It was pretty fun to be at Khao San Rd (if that's what you're looking for). I've been to Bangkok twice before, and this was the first time i stayed I visited th area. Good to do once.

It was a strategic location for shopping.
The staff was rude, room smelly & small.
I will not go back to this hotel in the future.

the room is extremely small, and noisy.
Because the hotel is in the crowded and busy street, it's very noisy in the evening, and could not fall asleep. The room is very small that you could not place the baggage well. It is not very tidy, and I can only go to bed without having a shower as well. The hotel is not nearby the MTR or BTS, it's only way we can go there by TAXI,
Nightlife Tip : this area is the place where you can spend you life, many pubs around there, and night market where you can buy a lot thing in cheaper price.
