Location and relativly quiet we have stayed here before and we definitely got what we paid for, no hot water which is sometimes ok for bangkok to be able to cool down. prices seem to fluctuate so we did not book again as the price had doubled within a week, staff are ok for bangkok

Excellent location, clean rooms, comfortable stay Tiny bathroom, but it didn't really matter We had a great time at Sawasdee Khaosan Hotel. Enjoyed the stay there.

Near to the main Khao San street. Very convenient. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Cool! Breakfast was not pleasurable. I love this place. I took the airport bus from the airport, the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Very very convenient. It is also very close to the main Khao San street, but it is located off the main street, so night noise is minimal. Cool budget hotel. I would recommend it for sure to my family and friends. The receptionist are also friendly, thanks Sawasdee.
Nightlife Tip : Great nightlife at Khao San. I love it.

Fresh rooms, nice staff, cheap, not in the middle of khaosan road Breakfeast, you could hear everything in the corridor An ok hotel if you're only stay for a night or two in bkk. We stayde here when we were coming from koh chang to go to hua hin. The breakfeast was not much but then we didn't pay much for the room. Clean and fresh, staff was friendly. No problems checking in or out. Good that it was a bit away from khaosan road, easy to find from where the bus let us off.

Great locations, clean, professional, consistent, lots of services. We liked it, it could only get better by being cheaper I guess. We literally passed 5 of these hotels around the Khosahn road area while we stayed there. All of them are little and we had to walk 1 min to the other one for laundry and internet. If you take the AE2 bus from the airport it drops you off right in front of one so it takes a lot of hassle out of your first trip to Bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip : you can book directly with them through hotelsawasdee.com or swasdee-hotels.com and you may save a few bucks I think.

Close to Khaosan Road, Shopping. Fantastic Location close to everything! Temples, Khaosan Road, Shopping. The Food in the restaurant is good and people friendly and the Free breakfast is a bonus. My room was clean and room service good.

The location in Khao San is good. I booked for double standard room but they gave me just a single room... but I didn't realize.
After that my friend said my room was single.
I wasted my money.
And a housekeeper suddenly come in when I was in the room without knocking...it's unbelievable.

Good location, many useful facilities such as money exchange, airport bus station in front of hotel. room is old, less service minded staffs I didnt stay in this hotel, but did reservation for my turkish friends. I chose the Sawasdee Khoa Inn because it was its good location. Also the price was reasonable via internet. The hotel room was so and so. I experienced that during the checking-in process, the staff wasnt polite and helpful. He was annoyed to give us information. My friends needed to change the room inthe middle of thier first night because the problem in the bathroom. It was easy to get anywhere from the hotel but the staff seem to have less service mind.

Maybe location. Otherwise none. Grubby, small, dark room with tiny TV on top of fridge and no bedside table or lamp. No wall coverings or decoration at all. A really depressing little dump.
Bathroom so small and shower head positioned right over the w.c. so have to sit on toilet to take a shower. Having traveled extensively in S.E.Asia, and Thailand in particular, I have to say that this hotel is by far the worst value for money I have ever experienced. Mainly for the reasons stated above and the unfriendly staff. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
It is possible to stay in a much nicer guest house for 2 night for the same price as 1 night in this area.
I had a much better experience at the sister hotel Sawadee Bangkok Inn, and it was less expensive!!
Try Biman Inn for about the same price.
I would go as far as to say this was the worst hotel I have stayed in Thailand.

The airport bus stops just in front off the hotel, which means that you don't have to carry your luggage over a long distance.
Shopping Tip : Near Khaosan Road where everything takes place: shopping, dining, and nightlife.

A good hotel for the price. It was nothing amazing, but it was a good location to base our travels from.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Khao san road is about a block away. Lots to do and see there.
