I suppose its good for the money, but I will never go back there again. I got a headache from the aircon and the pillow is too hard. The mini bar is over price and there was no fridge. The room is so small and could not hang my clothes anywhere. Well the location is good, thats what we pay for.

None

Small room, too old, very noisy from the old air conditioner.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Need renovation, not just paint it.

after i show them the bug. the manager did not do any thing .they changed the sheets only. But it did not solve the problem.the bug is similar to ticks.and i saw cats lying on the roof next to our room.i do not think this was the first time to have bugs sucking guests' blood.because the next day,we were bitten again!

breakfast is ok

there are bugs on the bed. we were bitten by the vicious bugs.the itches lasted for 10 days. it is so terrible that agoda should not put this hotel on the list!

If you can afford $5 extra, go elsewhere Guest Rating: 2.3

We arrived from the airport at 6am and were pleasantly surprised that we could check into the rooms straight away. The rooms were dark and the floors unswept. It wasn't until the heat of the day when I tried to escape for a cool nap that I realised my airconditioning didn't do anything to cool the room, only drowned out the noise from the street below with the loud humming. It is a very cheap and well located hotel, but if you can afford an extra $5 you can get so much more within the same neighbourhood.

Very cheap, staff were helpful, early check-in, great location.

Dark rooms, air conditioning didn't cool the room past 30 degC, couldn't open the windows.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great cheap massage palours! Great way to spend an afternoon out of the heat!

If you don't mind the conditions, a short walk to many spots of interest--museum, National theatre, palace, etc.

The cheapest hotel we could find on Agoda - so we got what we paid for, I guess. We would not go back or recommend it to anyone!

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Taxi to the new airport from the guesthouse - 400 Baht max. Be sure to haggle with tuk-tuk drivers to get to the train station - 50 Baht max.

if you plan to go to this area and get drunk and need a cheap crash pad then this might be an option for everyone else i strongly urge you pay 100 baht more and go to a decent hotel. we moved out early as it was a little depressing coming straight from the airport to this.

  • Nightlife Tip : khoasan road is very near and lively, lots of decent shopping. rambuttri road was a good choice as it was near khoasan but was a little quieter.

Overall, it is in good location as it is in a busy area. Not too far from the airport.

Before I came here I had just spent a month living in a concrete hole in the slum district of west Calcutta, so maybe through my tainted eyes this place looks better than it was. But to me it was paradise, clean and friendly.

  • Nightlife Tip : Visit Gullivers. It might be expensive compared to the rest but you know you'll end up in here at some point, even if it's just for the free Internet.

We found that taking a metered taxi was generally cheaper than tuk-tuks. People staying at Sawasdee properties probably aren't looking for high-fashion or fine dining so saving on transportation cost is helpful.
