(This review is for a different branch of the Sawasdee hotel group) We were transferred to the Sawasdee Inn that is just south of the Siam Center, near Lumphini park because of an over-booking. Because of this, they gave us an upgrade in our room. The staff were the most helpful and friendly of all, which is what made our stay nice. The room was clean, and nice enough. It had obviously been converted from something else recently, but it worked. Free Internet and breakfast included was nice. Our hot water didn't work right away, but they got their engineer on it as soon as they could. Good hotel for on-a-budget travelers.
Close to BTS and shopping in Sukhumvit.
Light pollution. No good TV.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lumphini park is a really nice park for "getting out of the city," and it's just a couple blocks south of the hotel. An easy walk.

The superior room is clean with a TV set , a window, and a working air conditioner. It also provides two bottles of drinking water for free and an electric water dispensing pot. The bathroom has only an electric boiler shower facility without a bathtub. Soap, shampoo and body lotions are provided. The people at the counter are nice. Very good for budget visitors except that a deposit of 500 bahts for the room key is required. A very plus factor for me is that they have internet at the lobby which has a very fast connection and at a reasonable price 10 baht for 10 minutes.
Room – Clean, AC was cool and our bed was comfortable. Our mini-fridge was well stocked with snacks and beverages and the cost for these items was about 1/3rd of what you would pay at a 5-star hotel. Complimentary of 2 mineral water per day.
Bathroom – Basis with cool / hot shower.
Breakfast – 3 choices to choose.
Location - 5 minutes walk to BTS Station @ Thong Lo.
Room - small and no elevator especially for the 3rd and 4th floors.
Location – it was abit out of sight on a very quiet road.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : BEST sticky rice and mango 60 baht - From hotel turn right passed all the japanese restaurant, cross road, turn left walk 50m , shop selling fruits and the best sticky rice. Open at night only.
Just right next to the hotel is the Japanese Restaurant, Pub and Cafe. Open until late night can have some drink before rest.
Taxi-meter to airport is around 250 baht, including toll for expressway (arrange by hotel).
that's fair

This hotel is good for only staying, and it is a little far from the downtown. But if the price is most important for you, this hotel is not bad.
Bedmaking was done everyday, but shampoo and body soap were not always full.It was good atmosphere(very quiet) around the hotel because there are many houses.
reception's guy is friendly
shower is a little weak
- Shopping Tip : There is a wooden items shop 'ark' at Soi49 Sukhumvit Rd.
Goods are reasonable and fine.
Just okay

If you're on a budget you can survive at this plac, that's about it. Nice staff however. It's quite a walk to most areas of interest, but not impossible to do so. Room are spartan, but comfortable. Computer access in the lobby by coin operated boxes is a nice touch. Cheap price makes it a good day only place if you have to wait for your plane to take off in the evening.
The rooms are clean.
No frills to say the least.
Nice walls
