Location - close to BTS and quiet. Clean.

Basic standard (we had standard room).

First location - close to BTS and food vendors. Very clean. Good as a budget hotel and for Asian standards. We looked for a cheap and clean room with a bathroom and it was great. I will stay there again.

It's a little better than it looks Guest Rating: 6.7

Smack in the middle of Sukhumvit, staff are helpful, breakfast is fine, nice bed, rooms are clean, air conditioning works, decent mini bar. Also, conveniently located near sky train station, about halfway between the main tourist attractions and the airport.

Tired looking rooms, overlook an alley, seems a bit dodgy at night, awkward shower (as you are literally spraying the entire bathroom).

We arrived at this hotel around dinner time and weren't sure what to expect when we turned into a little alley. Turns out the hotel is fine - no real bells and whistles, but certainly will meet all your needs. The staff were quite helpful and the room - although tired looking had a great bed. The photos certainly make it look nicer than it is, but overall had a fine stay.

Restaurant Tip : Sukhumvit's a hot spot in Bangkok and this hotel is right there. Lots of dining options, in particular on this street tons of Japanese restaurants if you are so inclined.

Location and price

Terrible, nosiy rooms with cracked windows that let air and noise into rooms.

room with cracked window sills that let air and noise in all 4 of the windows. Tough to sleep at night with all of the noise. The staff was ok but hotel is going downhill from previous years.

Cheap. Value for money. Just 5 mins walk away from Thong Lo BTS Station. Friendly & helpful staff. Lotsa good food around, ranging from local Thai hawker fare to Korean BBQ Restaurant Buffet.

Saw some ants crawling around inside the room. Lack of toiletries, best to bring your own. No lift for those staying on higher floors.

Convenient place to stay which is value for money. Comes with a simple breakfast which is well made. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Furnishing inside room was a little old, but stil usable. Great for those who are on a budget.

Restaurant Tip : Min Hyang Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant that is just around the corner. At only 289 Baht per head, you can have unlimited servings of Pork (5 different types) & Kim Chi as well as their daily soup. My favourite was their Pork Ribs. Gosh it just made me drool thinking about it !!

Great location for Ekamai bus station. Friendly staff

Rooms a bit dark.

The hotel was just as it was pictured on Agoda. It is a 235 baht ride from the airport. The rooms were clean and the showers good. It is a ten miunute walk from the Ekamai bus station where all the buses leave to go to the Islands like Koh Chang and Koh Samet. There are a few restaurants around the courner. Staff was helpful for an early morning checkout

Shopping Tip : 7 Elevens are close. English menus abound at nearby restaurants.

The hotel was situated close to Skytrain and the centre of Bangkok. The room was comfortable and clean. It was also well equipped. Very affordable price. Staff were very friendly and spoken good English.

It was a shame there was no elevator, so taking heavy suitcases to the fourth floor is hard work! But not a huge problem.

Well priced hotel in the centre of Bangkok. Room was more than expected and staff friendly. If I return to Bangkok I will stay here again!!

Shopping Tip : Go to the Siam Mall, it's a great shopping experience with food court and aquarium.

away from the busy markets, neat & clean, good break fast

away from the main streets, located in kind of residency area, little far from the main road & rail station, No WIFI access, expensive internet access

i reserved for three days but had to cancel after staying for the first day sicne this place is bit far from the markets ad its located bit inside frm the main road making it difficult to reach the hotel in late night. So if u r visiting bangkok for nightlife and roam around then this is not the right place to stay. Staff were not too cordial, was shocked at their response initially, so that was one reason why left the hotel at the earliest. lost my camera somewhere in the hotel and when i went again to check for it the responce from the reception people were not good at all. altogether it was a bad experience or me in this hotel. Internet access was 10 baht for 15 min and had to access their computer & no wifi access.

Price, staff freindly and helpful on the whole, quite near to Thong Lor Skytrain Station.

At end of poorly lit soi.

Room comfortable, quiet and with fairly decent decor but could have done with a small wardrobe. Hotel at end of poorly lit soi so not ideal for walking back after dark but no problems encountered. Could have taken a metered taxi back back instead. Limited choice for inclusive breakfast but quality okay. Main reasons for staying here were the price and proximity to the Thong Lor Skytrain Station which proved to be very useful for getting around and saved me mucho baht in taxicab fares. Personally would probably stay here again unless decided on a posher more expensive hotel.

Travel tip : Skytrain day pass for 150 baht saves messing about with individual fares, and probably saves some baht most days as well. And there are a couple or so other types of Skytrain pass to choose from instead. The Skytrain connects with the underground metro lines at some stations for which separate fares are payable which is also very useful for getting around.

You get what you pay for here.....this is not really a criticism as much as an observation. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were attentive. The hotel is located some distance from the night life areas but it is close enough to the sky train that the distance is not overly inconvenient. The immediate area has some good dining and shopping options.

Close to BTS, breakfast is oke

ants, end of dark alley, looks old, staff do not share the Thai hospitality, superior room is same as standard?

We stayed at this hotel and you get what you get paid for.. but make sure you get the room you wanted we booked Superior but its the same as Standard? Ants in the room is not pleasant either, shower is a a chinese shower not very comfortable.. The hotel wanted 600 baht for us for a taxi to the airport.. we denied that and took a taxi ourselves for 251 Baht..and this hotel is close to the BTS but not in walking distance of the malls or store so you end up always taking the BTS. Room needs decoration also. People in Thailand are friendly except most of tthe staff here

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take airport bus from Airport and arrange a taxi yourself when you go back to the aiprort saves you 300 baht

Good Location, Pleasent Staff

For the price no complaints, restaurant is very average but lots of local alternatives

This is a nice guest house located at the end of a quiet and safe street in a nice area of Bangkok. It's walking distance from the skytrain which will take you to all the main shopping areas. There are plenty of food options close by. The rooms are nothing special but they are clean and comfortable. This is a no frills establishment and offers good value for money...if you need more....pay more!

Restaurant Tip : Some of the best street food can be found across the road on Sukhumvit Soi 38, the stalls open about 7pm and shut very late!

Proximity to Thong Lor BTS, convenience stores and restaurants around the corner, friendly hotel staff who can speak english

old TV, shower in need of repair, ants in room

I had a very pleasant stay at this idyllic and rustic looking inn - which is conveniently tucked away in a quiet corner off the main street. 7-11, drug stores, florists, opticians, fruit stalls, massage parlours, local delights and Jap/Korean restaurants are scattered around the hotel. If you are a budget traveller looking to stay near the BTS, this is your hotel.
