Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

If you choose to stay in Chinatown, this newly renovated hotel is unique for its interior design and a taste of old Chinatown. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station and subway.
It has the potential to be high class hotel but lacks the flow of customers to support a 5 star staff. The hotel's breakfast buffet is a disappointment and lacks good service. The drinks at the Cotton Club are over priced in my opinion.
Usually I stay in the Silom or Siam area of Bangkok but this time I chose to stay at Chinatown because of never exploring this part of the city. It was like being in a different country since the culture and tradition of this neighborhood was Chinese, not Thai. (missed the smiles) The markets were interesting to explore and the seafood outdoor restaurants were just a block away from the hotel. (fresh seafood at a reasonable price.) The newly renovated Chinese design hotel was tastefully done...alot of thought and planning was put into it. I had a standard room which was a bit to small, next iime I would upgrade. The hotel is not the standard designed hotel, but truly is a "boutique" hotel that you won't find elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful (I'd choose a different outfit for them for such a apecial hotel.) Though the hotel is well disigned it would have been nice if the architect had included a roof garden for the customers to have the opportunity to relax outside instead of being closed up in the dark building. It is a good place to stay for a couple days in Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel does not have a restaurant since there are dozens of seafood restaurants just a block away.

Brilliant decor. Real boutique feel. Comfy beds. Helpful staff.
Cool jazz bar for a chilled drink.
Really good value for money (we booked for 2200 baht per night B+B). This hotel is a real hidden gem in the hustle bustle of chinatown bangkok. Very true to Shanghai decor with sumptuous bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly reccommend it.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel gave us a complimentary dinner on our first night which was delicious!

It doesn't have a Parking lot.
Nice service when I check-in, but too many people check-out at the same time. So I have to drag my suitcase to my car by myself. Nobody help me including an employee who stays at front building. Exotic room. Private and quiet.no parking or service 24 hrs. Parking payment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Not too far from golden budha temple and variety restaurant.
