i booked this hotel because it was well priced and i had 2 young children and we were in between flights but had quite a long wait. not close to the airport, but it was beautiful with the bed big enough for 4. i wish we could have stayed the night.
had dinner at the restaurant and it was well priced and very nice.

Almost perfect!!
Clean and cute room, big bath and wide shower with plenty of hot water. Great bar!! and so on.
9.7
we had to walk about 10-15minutes from the station to this hotel.
but we could sightsee around china town and some of these near temples.
except of this hotel's location is far from to station a little bit, almost perfect!!
clean, cute and exotic design's room with free drink and snacks in a fridge, and there was a big bath and wide shower with plenty of hot water. although this hotel is located in china town(a little bit dusty) and no window in the room, we didn't care about that.
also, the bar was amazing!
we could have yummy food and cocktails and mocktails which a beautiful bartender made!
in the night, wonderful band played music!
we could relax and had fun!
we recommend you should stay there!
Restaurant Tip:
You will be able to go around China town and some temples by walk and taxi or tuk-tuk.
But we recommend you should go to the chinese restaurant, it's white building which is in front of the hotel. You can have yummy Dim sum with very cheep.

Wonderfully different and friendly, well located.
Interior decoration perfectly matched to the environment of China Town. An oasis just a few steps from busy street markets and cultural sights.
9.7
It was a pleasant surprise to step into this wonderfully decorated and peaceful hotel, reminiscent of "old China", from the busy streets of China Town. Helpful and pleasant staff added to the experience. The central location made excursions for shopping and cultural sights easy. A nice walk through narrow lanes packed with street vendors and local shoppers lead you down to the river and quick access by boat to other parts of the city or the Sky Train. A real gem of a place to stay.

dissappointed from before but that is the human issue rather than the hotel itself. they really need to recognise returning. sadly we felt we were not that important customers? shame! hotel itself is well impressive and the decor and the location oozes character. rooms are lovely and the bustle of china town is intoxicating.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the sunday market is amazing. you can buy anything in thi 15000 stall place. incredibile - food is yummy as well.

beautiful Chineese hotel - nice rooms
Decor and the authentic look
7.7
Arrived after a long journey - 5 hrs on a bus from the islands. Having stayed there on the 16 June 2011 we expected a warm welcome and a friendly approach. The reception team looked tied and uninterested. How annoyed I felt. We came back tour lovely hotel only to have it devalued. The room is lovely but they need to sort out their attitude. Reception was inflexibile and distant and frankly not worth the effort to discuss anything with them. Shame because it is a lovely place to stay. The rest of the staff in other parts of hte hotel are lovely especially the lady who cleaned are rooms. Please change your welcome and reception attitude to customers as a priority?
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the grand palace use a yuktuk - 100 dong ( £2.00 )

beautiful boutique hotel
oriental chic design, relatively new
8
the hotel is nicely decorated. room is nice and new. small boutique hotel with every floor having a different oriental feel. staff are friendly and the hotel provide complimentary tuk tuk services to the guests. but need to book the tuk tuk early as they have very limited spaces.
location is not very ideal if you need to travel out of chinatown. we tried walking to the mrt but realised it's not that easy to walk with all the small lanes and will take about 10-15 mins to get to the mrt. best to take a taxi which cost not more than to siam paragon/platinum (abt 20-30 mins ride with abit of traffic). but not many taxi drivers know where the hotel is located as there are no prominent signage and the hotel is tucked between the shops/restaurants where it is easily missed. good to tell the driver that it is opp the chinatown hotel near 7-11/tops (it's along the street where there are lots of seafood restaurants)
