Large room Good choice of restaurants Great pool Friendly staff

Not close to the main shopping area Looks a bit dated

We booked this hotel as a stopover on our way back from the UK and stayed for 2 nights. We requested early check in as we arrived early in the morning - no problem and no extra charge for this. The staff were welcoming and the room service was very efficient. Nice comfy bed and clean room. The pool is large and would be great if you were travelling with children. They have a good range of restaurants to choose from if you don't want to head in to town. The skyrail is close by. The only down side is the distance from the main shopping centres. This is a really good value hotel for the price and we will definitely stay there again.

Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure you don't forget to venture up to the pool. It is a good place to unwind after all that shopping and traffic.

Convenience - near BTS station & 24-hour convenience store Good standard and quality of hotel

High room rate No toothbursh & toothpaste in room

A convenience hotel which is near BTS station, just 5-minute walk and a 24-hour convenience store (7-11) is just nearby. Although the hotel is not new, it keep its standard and good quality. The swimming pool has resort feel and has spa shop inside. The room that I booked is not included breakfast even the room rate is not cheap. No toothbursh & toothpaste in room.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a money exchange shop opposite to the hotel and the exchange rate HKD vs THB is good.

Friendly staff. Good place right in the center of city

Bad food. Bad condition of rooms. TV and Phone was not working wnen I moved in. A lot of extra charges you wont see in the begining

Overall the experience I got in Siam City Hotel was quite bad. First of all it is by far not a five star hotel. Maximum it would get in any European country would be 2 or 3 stars and even that’s a stretch. Food in the hotel restaurants was really bad and expensive if compared to alternatives available in the city. Hotel as I understood is quite an old one and really needs renovation-upgrade. For example you can not switch the TV with the remote as it is a very old Toshiba (and I was in Deluxe Room btw). I would strongly recommend to try some other hotel. Hope it will be helpful.

One Great Service Hotel. Well organized, staff professional and friendly. One of the Best full service buffets in the city. Food is kept fresh with a large variety at all meals.

Internet available by expensive. Unfortunately most 4 and 5 star hotels find it a cash cow to charge excessive prices for internet service, when other hotels and restaurants are giving their guests this service free, as part of the intensive for the vist. A/C was a bit load, and was not able to turn off.

A Comfortable and clean hotel, good access to BTS (sky train) and centrally located close to the most famous centers of the city (IE Bayoke, Siam Paragon, and Victory Monument) I think it is rated a 4 star, and well deserved. It has numerous restaurants, on premise, with a nice variety of food selections. The New BTS going to Suwamapomi Airport will be completed within this year, the termination point beginning directly in front of the hotel. It will also connect the Suhkumvit Line, giving this hotel an excellent location.

The rooms are decorated nicely, the hotel restaurants serve delicious meals and the pool is beautiful.

Crowded lobby, pool was in a different building, felt like one of the employees (a doorman) was trying to overcharge me for tour services, the rooms were kind of small.

Stayed here for two nights last week and was satisfied. Felt the place was a little pricey for what was provided. Internet service in the room was an extra $15-20 a day. The rooms were also on the small side. Wasn't happy with having to travel a substantial distance to reach the pool; The pool wasn't in the same building as our hotel. It also got kind of crowded during the morning and day with locals coming there to eat. The location also was not the best.

Close to sky train Great pool Friendly staff

There was not much around the hotel in terms of shopping or restaurants Bar closed too early

If visiting Chatachuk weekend market is on your Bangkok agenda, the Siam City Hotel is a great place to stay as it's right beside the skytrain and only about 6 stops away. The hotel pool is a perfect place to relax after a day spent shopping and bargaining at the market - don't forget to try the reclining spa massage beds at the end of the pool for a different experience.

Restaurant Tip : Swensen's icecream is in the ground floor of the building on the corner if you're looking for an icecream fix from an extensive menu.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful the moment we got out of the taxi. The rooms are very clean and had a nice decor. Very close to the Phayathai Skytrain stop.

Can't think of anything. We didn't use the pool or eat at any of the restaurants.

This was a great hotel. The rooms were great, very spacious and a nice bathroom with tub and shower. It was so close to the Skytrain station and you can get to most places in Bangkok on the skytrain. The staff was wonderful. They definitely made you feel as though you were the best guest in the hotel.

Nice and big room, good facility

Price higher and without free Wireless internet

I do not think this hotel is suitable for business traveller, price higher, higer charge for internet access, but it is a good choice for leisure traveller with higher demand of quality. Even though I may not choose it as my stay next business visit, but I will choose it when I go to Bangkok for leisure only.

Location is best, staff is very helpfull, good for convention and group. Tuc-Tuc are alway ready to take you where erver you like, they know the place very well.

Staff was not heplfull wil internet communication, this is one of the reason I move to an other hotel the my last week in Bangkok. (16 BHT per minute) ( only pay 1 BHT at other location) Breakfast expensive not best.

Hotel very well location in Bangkok, Staff is very good and extremely polite, Fodd is ok but expensive, Good location for large shopping center, near Sky Train, Close to downtomn using the Sky Train, Taxi and Tuc-Tuc, You get to knowe the People easily, Same taxi driver ready to help event as a guide, this is similar for Tuc-Tuc driver, Alway be carefull, they can take you to plances you did not plan, ask question. Good Taylor close to that Hotal Brioni Taylor, I was took there by the Taxi driver, no regret very good service. The reasn I let for an other hotel was trhe cost of using internet at this hotel, in todays communication these hotel should offer free internet access. I have appreciate AGODA reservation through this process,

Shopping Tip : Not at walking distance to any thing, but close enought to use a taxi or tuc-tuc at a fair price, not a bad location, but too far to walk to area of activities.

We had a pleasant stay there. The facilities n room services is best ever I had ever stay. The morning breakfast is marvellous too.

There isn't thing I dislike here.

I will choose this hotel again if I get the chance to go Bangkok once more as it is nearby city & market area. The services which they provided for us is indeed good. Room keeping services is good too. =)

Shopping Tip : Night market.
