Excellent friendly service, very clean, nice outdoor area, safe
These are very minor cons: have to pay for internet, pool a little small, not enough non-smoking floors.
This is simply a wonderful, well priced hotel with style. I like being reminded that I am in Thailand throught the lovely decor. Wonderful attention to detail, particularly to blocking noise. Great location for airport bus, MRT & BTS, Lumpini park and the wonderful warm, friendly and helpful service have swayed me to make this hotel my home away from home in Bangkok, and I am here at least 6 times per year. My last stay was in the suite and it is such a lovely yet practical little apartment, perfect for separating all our shopping from our daily living.
Shopping Tip : two short MRT stops to the Night market and 10 min walk to department stores.

Tour Desk - avoid like the plaque, a very expensive joke of a company
Sniffy staff - EVERYTHING seemed to much
A reasonably nice hotel right in the thick of it. What let's it down is the money grubbing at every turn for which you get bugger all in terms of service (save housekeeping which was top notch).
Service appallingly bad - even getting a coffee on the ground floor terrace was a problem, and that was after being flatly refused a coke from the staffed bar on the roof. Don't even get us started on the 7 hour round trip to Kwai in a clapped out unroadworthy Volvo with a flatulent driver...... After many many years of trips to Thailand and Bangkok this poor excuse for a hotel has left a very bad taste for us and we would not return ourselves and would strongly urge friends to avoid at all costs.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't book here unless you truly enjoy Thai arrogance at it's worst.

No best features in this hotel.
Would not stay there again.
Its very old and dated inside and the pictures on the website are incredible compared to its actual real look. Pool area is very small, old and dirty with tiles coming off the pool. Not good for children. Hotel is smack opposite Pat Pong so loads of noise.
Nightlife Tip : Directly opposite Pat Pongs nightlife zone.
