i liked the friendly staff, always there with a smile. a very comfortable bed, quiet and a great position for shopping, markets, etc.

swimming pool was too shallow. this was only a very minor problem.

i would be more than happy to reccommend this hotel. it was so easy to go places. very close to the sky rail, which opens up your list of things to do. the rooms where very clean and tidy. the bed was very comfortable. i was very impressed by the appearance of the hotel, and was taken back by the friendly and courteous staff. very happy. thanks.

Nightlife Tip : In Bangkok the sex trade is very open, if you can't handle gays and lady boys, stay in at night. Being a male solo traveller, i saw a lot of couples argueing over this.

Nothing!

i love this place more than my own home, going back in 3 weeks time for my last few days in BKK before i go home. the staff is brilliant, so is the location and the food and the room and everything! trust me, go there! this was suggested to me by my sister who is rather picky to say the least.

This place is conveniently located near the Patpong night markets and the center of Silom. The hotel's entryway is cool, with this kind of indoor/outdoor bar area. Just take a few stairs to the less exotic, actual lobby and you'll be greeted by a very soft-spoken, gentle, somewhat ineffectual Thai man or woman who will stand up and give you that little Thai bow before any business is consorted. Make sure you get the 411 on how to keep the AC and electricity going in your room (you always have to keep one of your key cards stuck in the device to keep all of this technology running) and be sure to take advantage of their free American breakfast each morning, provided you get up before 9:30 or 10. Pool upstairs has a nice view of downtown Bangkok; the jacuzzi was freezing, but who cares in the middle of June? Just get used to walking out your hotel door and being accosted by taxi drivers, hookers, pimps, ladyboys, and guys who want to sell you gems and a "new, tailored suit." Welcome to Bangkok!!!

Some of the staff members have that sweet, gentle, glazed-over look in their eyes (i.e. I don't understand what you're saying, but have a nice day.....OR........I know what you're saying but I don't want to help you, so have a nice day).

Nice place in a good location. Patpong markets are just down the street, and so is Boystown if you like going into bars with a bunch of shirtless Thai guys parading in front of you waiting for you to pick them out and take them back to your room. Same girly action availabe, of course but more diffused throughout the neighborhood. Walk west on Surawong one day all the way to the river, get on old crazy longboat driver to take you on a tour of the canals and the river, and you'll be stoked. Crazy trip past people's shanty houses, pythons curled up right next to the river, dead cats floating in the water, guys coming up in their boats trying to sell you shit, a stop at a "snake farm," which had few snakes but some bored monkeys and a sad tiger stuck in a little cage....and then the whole Chao Phraya itself....teeming with pollution, but you see all kinds of great temples and monuments along the way.

Travel tip : Make sure you negotiate a price with Tuk Tuk drivers before you get in those things, and have one set destination in mind, otherwise they'll try to take you all over the city and take you to a tailor shop to have a (cheap) suit made for you. Just be firm with them and don't let them mess with you.

Great location on Surawong Rd across from Meridian, friendly staff, unlimited in room complimentary bottled water service

no tub, pricey wifi

Great location on Surawong Rd and Patpong across from Meridian hotel, friendly staff, unlimited in room complimentary bottled water service, even though the breakfast buffet was so so, location was worth the stay, small cute pool deck on roof with mini tub disguised as jacuzzi, security at night to screen non-registered guests which was good

The Decor- Traditional Thai-Gives interesting blend of Traditional Thai with Modern Convienience The Staff very help and couteous. Small gives u personal feeling of Home away from Home

Perhaps a little to close to the hustle of the Patpong yet that depands on what one is interested in.

I liked the Staff and their very friendly and helpful attitude. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Complementary breakfast was above average with good selection --of Meats-fruits-breads-and Egg to order. The Coffee was also above average & Fresh Local as I saw per the daily deliveries. The roof top Pool is nice place to relax and very private. Also was fairely quiet consider the city noise below. Over all I would say they deserve their 4 Stars.

Lovely roof top pool, great location, large comfortable rooms

Not much light in the rooms, noisy airconditioner.

I booked the Siam heritage based on a recommendation. I found the staff friendly and attentive, the accomodation very central. Try the little Tailor shop in the complex he is very good. Charming traditional style furnishings, lovely oasis roof top bar and pool.

Shopping Tip : Try the Tailor in the complex. I had 5 business shirts made for me in just a 24 hour turn around, excellent quality and well priced

Siam Heritage Boutique hotel is centrally located along Surawong Road, right next to Patpong. The rooms are clean and spacious, and tastefully decorated. The staff are very courteous and friendly. My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in the hotel, will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Good value, convenient location, very good staff

small breakfast room

I have stayed several times at this hotel and it has been consistently good value for money. Good service, clean, good staff, in a convenient location for transport, both overground and the metro. Also convenient for shopping and for many restaurants. The hotel restaurant is pretty good anyway. Not glamourous like the bigger hotels, but very good value. I will return

hotel has lovely traditional thai architecture and furnishings. a lovely rooftop bar and pool to relax away from the hustle bustle of the city.

road it was situated on was very busy

the hotel was just what we were looking for and even though the road it is situated on was very busy and noisy the hotel is very quiet and relaxed with extremely friendly and helpful staff who phoned around restaurants to book us a table for dinner...on his own mobile phone :) would definitely stay here again. the hotel was cleaned and maintained to a high standard, the breakfast is 260 baht so it's probably worth paying the extra on the nightly rate to include it.

Restaurant Tip : best indian we have had, rembrandt hotel on the 26th floor with a view of the city only 70 baht in a taxi (meter) on sukhumvit rd.

Great staff, great location, comfortable stay

None

Everything I read about this hotel was true, plus more! We upgraded upon check in to an executive suite for just a few dollars more. We had an excellent view of the street from our room. The staff at this hotel went out of thier way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was very good every day. The fitness center right off of the pool area was nice (and cool). The management even sent us a fruit tray to the room during our stay. I couldn't ask for a more comfortable place to stay. Every detail in the room was well thought out, including a kitchenette and eating area. Stay here!

Nightlife Tip : This is where to stay to experience the nightlife you hear about in Bangkok. The girly bars are a block away. The gay bars are right around the corner with great shows and the night market is in the middle of it all. A very safe area so don't be afraid to have a little fun.

Convenient, just walk back to the hotel to sleep after strolling along Patpong without having to bargain with the taxi drivers in midnight

Cannot find any

The hotel is really clean, safe and situated in an excellent location. You have everything around the hotel and easily take a BTS or MRT everywhere you want. But I encountered an unplesant experience. I accidently cracked the glass for brushing teeth in the wash hand basin. When I came back to the hotel in the evening, it was taken away, leaving just one glass on the shelf. When I checked out, I was asked to pay 50 baht for the broken glass. Though I know I should pay for that, but they should replace the glass and then charge me by the time when I checked out. As I was staying in a double-bed room, I might have two persons in the room. How could I have just one glass? Nevertheless, it is a matter of the hotel policy. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. I will stay there again.

Good location, excellent staff

some rooms need renovation,simple breakfast

I was first upgraded to an room with kitchen. The room seems to be old, especially the kitchen give the room an "old" feeling. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The next day, I was given a room without kitchen on the 8th floor, which seemed to be renovated and I liked the room much better. The staff at the hotel were very warm and polite, always greet and smile.

Nice location Classic style

The room is a bit small and low

Basically, Siam Heritage is a hotel with good c/p value. It's in a great location and you can easily go to the places you want to. The style of the room is pretty elegant and classic. The only disadvantage is the lobby and room is a bit small. However, I'll still recommend it if you go to Bangkok alone.

Good value. Clean, good rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast room small. Expensive laundry

A very good value Bangkok hotel, not the most luxurious in the city, but much cheaper than the big-name expensive ones. I have stayed there several times and it is consistently the best value for money I have found in Bangkok. It is within easy walking distance of large shopping centres that also include good clean restaurants, and overground and underground train stations to avoid the Bangkok traffic. The people are very friendly, very helpful, and the same people are there each time, which must reflect well on the hotel as this is a less glamorous location than others nearby.
