Wonderful Stay

It was a wonderful stay that we had. We tried taking the train down to the hotel, transfer about 3 different area, it was easy... with light luggages of course. The check in was a breeze.. we will seated at the sofa, enjoy a welcome drink.... while the lady help us to check in.... The room was big and the bathroom size was big to my surprise.
It was easy access to the BTS station which is about 3 min walk.
The tour guide was very helpful is guiding us to the way to the temple that my hubby wanted to visit, and hail a taxi to take us to the airport.
From hotel to airport, the flat rate was 400baht.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay... will definitely come back again when i visit bangkok next yr.

Excellent Staff and Facilities

My third stay at the Sivatel in 12 months. It was again very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good, rooms are excellent and it is a short walk to the skytrain.

The room is big and is equiped with modern televisions with Apple TV. The view is great even though there is a huge building lot in front of the hotel. This produces a bit of noice but it's ok. It's only a bit disappointing for the infinity edge pool as you are looking onto another building lot.

The room was decent sized and comfortable although beginning to show signs of wear and tear and could do now with a lick of paint. The staff was helpful and attentive. The location is good for shopping. That said, most taxi drivers we used in the three days didn't know where the hotel was and some had to ring up the hotel to find out.
For the room we stayed in which was a two bedroom Royal Duplex, I would have expected to find a sink in the kitchen area (there was a full sized fridge/freezer and a set of crockery and cutlery for 4 persons), but there wasn't. As we travelled with a 15 month old baby, a sink would have been convenient for washing out dirty dishes and bottles, etc. However, this is a minor issue as we were able to use the basin in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay - everything we needed was at the hotel. The lobby is not opulent but the room is more than functional -- large, clean and well designed. We were absolutely comfortable our entire time there. The staff was very helpful. The pool was lovely. Only small issue is all the construction happening around the hotel. We We asked to be moved to a quieter room and never hear a thing. But when you[re at the pool you hear the construction slightly.
