The Rooftop Swimming Pool is great for lap-swimming and refreshing dips. It measures approximately 17 by 5 meters. The top floor also shares the Fitness Center as well as the his-and-her spa areas. Female and male areas are separated and each is equipped with a brand-new cedar sauna, a glass steam room and a tiled shower/changing room facility. A relaxing chaise awaits sunbathers and/or cityscape viewers. Wood decking adds to the serene ambiance.

Children at the SofitelThe Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot. For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Quiet, high-class, pleasant cccomodations suited to the longer stay where you can cook and wash for yourself, etc. It is a high-end serviced condo in a way, very good.

This is basically an apartment - it's like booking a short term serviced flat to stay in. From that point of view, it is extremely well priced. It is also perfectly suitable for business meetings. I will stay here again.

What's nearby ?
- Wonderful restaurants such as: Le Dalat (Best Vietnamese), Baan Khanitha (probably the best Thai food), Shin Daikoku (one of best Japanese -along with Tsu-Nami), Neil's Tavern for great steaks, and LeBeaulieu in Sofitel is wonderful.
- Siam Society- for Thai lectures, library, small house museum, worth a visit manageable in size.
- The famous Bangkok Dental Spa: first in its kind of spa/dentist office visit. try it even for just a cleaning, if not whitening, just for the novelty.
- Robinson Department Store: A very affordable Thai shopping experience. Discount clothes and more.
- Soi Cowboy: a semi red-light district not too far away, not too close by.
- ASOKE BTS Skytrain Stop about 10 minutes walk. The easiest way to get around even if you take a taxi or moto-taxi to it.
