Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

The hospitality from the Hotel is 5*.
Rooms are very comfortable and clean.
I've tried both the indoor and outdoor pool. It's awesome. But the gym equipments are limited.
Very convenient. (Free shuttle service to nearest train station, Asok/Sukhumvit)
Massage parlours, convenient store and food court right in front of the hotel.
Not much of weaknesses from the hotel.
I visited Bangkok on the 7th - 12th January 2010 and stayed in Somerset Lake Point. I would rate the hotel as a 5* hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time staying there with my group of friends. The hotel is just too comfortable and convenient I would say. I strongly recommend this hotel for family and traveller in groups. The hotel location is not too far from the train station (Asok/Sukhumvit) and the good thing is, the hotel provide free shuttle service to the train station. Overall, the hotel is excellent and I will be staying here again during my next visit.

Location, service and value!
I recently had a one-night transit in Bangkok and another nice stay at Somerset Lake Point. This time, I was upgraded to a studio on the 32nd floor of Tower A, with spectacular views of the Bangkok skyline! Enjoyed the usual friendly service, free WiFi and good breakfast. Will be back be sure!

Modern bathroom, clean, spacious, nice TV, central, free Internet (cable in room, or wireless in lobby)
Furniture (sofa) was a bit worn out, but I did not spend much time there anyways.
Stayed there for three nights. Room was clean, spacious, had a modern tv and bathroom and quiet. Location is great, it is a 10 minute walk to Asoke Station, but the area is safe and sometimes you can even catch the Tuk Tuk. Would come back anytime.
Restaurant Tip : Go to Times Square, lot of good Korean Restaurants there.

Laundry and kitchenette in room, great staff, free tuk-tuk service, close to BTS/MRT stations, nice facilities and clean, basic store in hotel, free breakfast.
Internet is available through wired connection only and is a regular hassle. You must log in every time you boot up. The laundry appliances were a headache with little instructions and 2 of the 4 units we used were defective. One didn't wash, one didn't dry, but the other two were great.
Wired internet is complimentary but no wi-fi network is available, this is VERY frustrating if you have multiple people with computers or devices. Beware the laundry appliances, they flaked out for us and we lost one day of our vacation. The staff was quick to fix the problem although could not change our room because the trouble happened after a manager went home. I would suggest throwing a load in as soon as you check in to see if the machine works. All things aside the residence manager was very accommodating and we extended our stay for 2 extra nights. We will stay here again in the future.
Hotel Feature Tip : Tower A is more modern but more expensive, not sure if it's worth the extra money. We stayed in both towers and they were both very nice. The breakfast is mostly western, pretty good and is open from 5:30 to 10:30.

Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, good clean rooms.
I think I reviewed this after our first stay between December 18-20, with a glowing review. We also stayed December 31st and January 6th. Although we were never upgraded like the first stay, all of the rooms we stayed in were fine-- clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The staff remained helpful and friendly and, of course, the breakfasts were wondrful!

The room was very nice for a week. The staffs are very kind and friendly. Many choices of your breakfast. A washmachine in your room.
As a tourist, as a shopper in Bangkok, you can enjoy staying in this hotel. Hotel staff finds your taxi to anywhere. You can access to BTS or MRT in 10 minutes on foot. If you don't want to walk, you have a Tuktuk service or you can hire a bike-taxi as 10 bahts between Hotel and Asok area.
Restaurant Tip : You can find a nice Japanese restaurant named "Tensui" and Korean restaurant very closely, when you are bored with Thai cuisine. Also you can buy any items in a grocery store in 5 minutes on foot

Superior room is big and has all the utensils you ever need to make your holiday enjoyable.
Tailor Shop is overpriced compared to others in BKK
I stayed here for two nights and found the hotel to be very good. The superior room was very big and had everything in there you need, just like an apartment really. Quiet location but not too far from Asoke train Station. Breakfast buffet was also very good. The only downside I had was getting clothes made at the tailor shop that is attached. The prices seemed to be overpriced compared to others I found in BKK. All in all a good stay there!

Very helpful staff-- came upstairs when we had a concern about he washer/dryer immediately, the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious and the WiFi connection worked well!
There were no cons about the hotel in particular, just that it's hard to walk around Bangkok-- the sidewalks are in terrible shape, traffic is difficult and no one walks.
This was my first visit to Southeast Asia, and Thailand. The staff and the amenities made me feel both very much at home and lent the experience as also exotic. Every request was met with enthusiasm and I had the feeling that the entire staff knew each of the guests personally, making not of their preferences.

1) Spacious studio with well kitchenette.
2) Free internet access
3) Free tuk tuk service to BTS
4) Resonable rate
5) Children playground
5) Friendly Staff
1) lift is slow
2) hot water supply is unstable.
We chosed this serviced apartment because we have a young children along so that we need a spacious space for him. I was amazed the apartment provide a fully-equipped kitchen, such as toaster, cuttery, big refrigirator, hob, washing machine with drying facility so that we could wash our clothes daily.
In addition, the service apartment provide free internet access which allow me to keep in touch with family and business.

Cant think of any right now, maybe its good for people traveling with a ton of kids but it was a very disappointing experience overall - u get much better serviced apartments for less money in Bangkok!
The rooms were terribly ill kept, carpets dirty, view terrible, the calls to room service keep going unanswered and you have to dial reception to get anywhere!
The reviews were all quite deceptive and the rooms are nothing like the pictures! (And we paid for executive suites!!!)
A royal disappointment!!
