Nice big rooms but bad location

I stayed for just one night. You will need to print a map of the location for your taxi driver to find this Hotel. It is not so easy to find ..... My driver took over 2hrs to find the Hotel so beware! The rom was of of a good standard overall for the price. Was a pain having to put my keycard in the lift to be able to use it every time!

Good hotel but unfortunately run down

The hotel is in a great location relative to what we wanted to do. The size of the room is great but unfortunately it has seen better years ...
Evidenced by the shoddy furniture, noisy air-con and water heater that alternates between hot and cold on its own.
In addition, while we would like to thank the management for extending our check-out time, it would have been great if they have re-programmed our cards to allow us access of the lifts and our room!!!

stayed here for the two rooms for. good price. two rooms - best price to allow the privacy for two couples. a free shuttle to the bts (only runs til 6pm) but makes it better than walking...would be to far.

the hotel was very clean, modern, with all facilities. nice staff, very helpful. the rooms are spacious and you have a sitting area outside the room with kitchen.
the location is central there with a tok tok service between the hotel and the central world shopping centre or the bts sky train.

The location is the only shortcoming as it take more than 10 minutes walk to the subway.This is not possible under the blazing sun.Other than that,everything is perfect!

Go to Banyan Tree Hotel roof top for a drink at sunset.

The hotel is relatively old compared to the pictures. We stayed at a 2 bed executive the best room in the hotel and a lot of the facilities were either old or broken. Example shower head broken, fridge door doesn't close properly, basin sink doesn't flush well, sink fills up with water and old carpets.
However, staff were excellent and they will always assist to get taxi for you (metered) taxi comes always within few minutes. The rooms are much bigger than any other apartment hotels i been at so space wise it was great. The 2 bedroom apartment cost a night during thai new years.
Hotel is on same street as Marriot maybe 2 minutes down. Location is quiet not in middle of any action.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you want to stay right in middle of the action i suggest hotel right in Silom here you can walk to it but will take around 15 minutes walk.

I've decided to stay the second night at Somerset. My room on the 23rd floor is so quiet and clean. Good air conditioning and good water pressure. A much better experience than last time. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends. The price is very reasonable and room is spacious, clean and well equipped.
The breakfast has a wide selection of Asian and Western food.
Services are courteous and the location is not far away to the heart of the city.
