a very pleasant place to stay

this is where i usually stay in bangkok. the apartments are a good size, and comfortable, and the staff generally friendly and helpful. there is a complimentary tuk tuk service that runs on the half hour (until 6 p.m.) to the nearest bts station, so there is no problem with the hotel location. and taxis are easy to get too.
Restaurant Tip:
Turn left from the hotel and just past soi 6 is a small coffee outlet open every day except Sunday. Very good coffee, and worth supporting what seems to be a very small one woman enterprise.

Nice big 2 bedroom apartment. Great listing of restaurants that deliver. The hotel has a tuk, tuk that takes you to the train - very convenient. The pool and work out areas were a great plus. All 4 of us took advantage of that. Everything was clean and well kept and the staff was very friendly. We had wifi which we really appreciate while travelling.

the room is very spacious ard 70 sq.m. with cozy bed and a nice living room. also, the personnel was very helpful and service-minded. although, the facility on 5th floor e.g. swimming pool, sauna looked a bit older than somerset thonglor but all still in good function. in room dining is not too expensive.

the room is very spacious and clean, but the set back was that the location was kind of far to the shopping area. but for family wiith children and people who prefer peaceful, it is suitable for them.

the somerset was a pleasant stay with everything you need under one roof. you can enjoy excellent cusine from the restaurants or you can cook your own in your apartment.
the apartments were clean comfortable and everything you need was there. the gym was a little bit dated but you could get a general work out their.
staff were all pleasant and not far from silom or saladeng bts.
Shopping Tip:
There is a on site supermarket that sells all bare essentials and the heavy stuff like large water etc but if you make your way in to silom you will see TOP supermarket that has a huge range of fruit, veg a biut like a european supermarket.

the thing about this hotel is that you always feel you could stay longer. the staff are friendly - and some claim to remember you from previous visits! - and the rooms spacious and comfortable. i like the garden in front of the hotel, too, and the koi carp in the pond. all in all, a very good place to stay in bangkok.
