Room size, nice layout, nice balcony and view.

very weak water pressure in shower, far from BTS, pool is covered, small gym with few equipments, breakfast ends at 10:00AM.

The room is clean, spacious and nice decorated. There are enough lighting in the room to make it warm and cozy. The water pressure in shower is very very weak like dripping. The breakfast starts from 6:00am to 10:00am with limited selection. The pool is covered and only limited amount of sunlight can shine on the tanning chair. For those who enjoy swimming and sun tanning, you will be disappointed by it. Gym is very small with few equipments only. Service is just ok, as I had called 3 times to housekeeping to get an adaptor but did not come until I had to go down to the lobby to complain.

Hotel Feature Tip : Even for the same room type, there are different layouts. Some rooms have bathrooms inside the bedrooms and some rooms have bathrooms outside the bedrooms. You can indicate your preference while checking-in.

價位,Location

Excellent value for money. Great apartment, very spacious and comfortable, classy and clean, new and modern furniture, nice terrace-view. SPA, pool and gym facilities. Free internet connection in the room.

Location is a bit out of the way, rather (walking) distant from skytrain or tube stations. Acoustic isolation with nearby apartment could be better.

I had a nice three-night stay at Somerset Park Suanplu Hotel, Bangkok at the beginning of this year. The hotel is located in a tranquil and safe area, among embassies, banks and business centers. It is a little bit far from the more touristic zones of Bangkok; so, unless you like walking, you'll need a taxi or a tuk-tuk to reach them quickly. The apartment (1 Bedroom Executive Room #1312) was great, very spacious (70 sqm!!!) and comfortable, classy and clean, with new and modern furniture. There is a kitchenette with electric heaters, a microwave, a fridge and a few pottery. In the living room there is a couch, a table with chairs, a desk with internet plug, TV and DVD set, while in the bedroom you will find another TV ! For your convenience a safe-box is located in the wardrobe closet. Some drawbacks in the bathroom with the unstable hot water temperature and with the size of the bathtub ...not suitable for tall people. From terrace you can have a nice view of the city, mainly modern tall blocks. You can also take advantage of a relaxing SPA treatment, a swim in the pool or a gym session, facilities all located on the 5th floor. Breakfast at the ground-floor was not sumptuous but good. During my stay, a group of noisy young boys in the apartment nearby attempted to my sleep in the early hours of every morning. Fortunately, having a separate bedroom, I could close its door and isolate myself from shouts, laughter and loud music.

Great Service Nicely furnished room

Location far from Sky Train or Metro

I would definitely recommend this serviced apartment hotel. I booked a one bedroom apartment. Very nicely furnished. Quiet and bright too. It would have been perfect if there had been a washer and dryer in the apartment. Staff are very extremely friendly, genuinely warm and very efficient. My only negative comment would be that I thought the location was less than ideal. Soi Suanplu is more a "local" street-busy, no high quality stores or services nearby and you had to travel out by Taxi or the Hotel Tuktuk makes moving out of the neighborhood less efficient compared to a hotel located within walking distance from the nearest Skytrain or Metro

Excellent front desk staff. They are extremely courteous, and speak perfect English. All rooms have separate living room with a dining area & table, bedroom, and a full kitchen. There is a eletronic safe in a walk-in closet in the living room. My room also came with free high speed internet access.

The hotel is quite some walking distance to the nearest subway (Lumpini). Probably a good 15 minutes walk.

Love the ample space in the units. The unit was extremely comfortable, and the furnishings were tastefully done. The pool was decent and the spa next to it offered a massage session for a decent price (although I didn't take up the offer). Also, the staff were extremely polite, and security was good. The walk to the nearest subway took about 15 minutes. And felt a little far especially in the scorching heat during the day. I stocked the refrigrator in the room with lots of snacks and drinks I purchased from the 24-hour Shell gas station just on the main road (Sathorn Road).

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel is off Sathorn Road. If you're coming in a taxi from the airport, watch out for the Shell gas station on Sathorn Road, and have the taxi turn left immediately after the Shell gas station. The building is located on the left of the avenue.

Great outlook. Easily accessible as most taxi drivers know the place. Friendly staff.

Couldn't get any ice from room service late at night. The water heater isn't very consistent.

The place was comfortable and tastefully decorated, it was also very spacious. Breakfast wasn't too bad and the staff were quite accommodating.

The room(s) were clean and beautiful.

None.

The Somerset Hotel is in a convenient location, is very clean and comfortable. The beds are especially nice with high quality mattress's and sheets. \n\nThe convenience of a suite allowed to have meetings in our room with local business associates and to enjoy the comforts of a home away from home. \n\nWe come to Bangkok often. We have stayed at most of the five star hotels. The experience at the Somerset was better than any of our other stays.\n\nThe Restaurant has great food and service. Perfectly adequate for a business traverler looking for a convenient location for breakfast and to meet associates. \n\nOverall the Somerset is one of the best bargains in Bangkok.

Nice large rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool and spa facilities. Nice weight room.

Water in the bathroom did not get as hot as I would have liked, but it was tolerable. Need to add a towel bar by the bathroom sink. No convenient place to hang the hand towels to dry.

The hotel staff goes out of their way to help ensure that you have a good stay. A techician came up and changed the sensor on the electric hot water heater in the bathroom, but it didn't make it any hotter. The water temperature in my room wasn't quite hot enough, but it was bearable. Also, they should add a towel bar near the bathroom sink to hang the hand towels.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not use the airport limo service. They look and sound very professional, and they probably are, but they are very expensive. They will pounce on you as you try to exit the airport, and they are 2 to 4 times as expensive as a regular metered taxi. They will try to pressure you into paying for their most expensive vehicle, and they'll only start going down to the less-expensive cars if you decline their first offer. Even their least-expensive car was twice the price of a metered taxi. The metered taxis are very good, very quick, and quite reasonably-priced.

A great location and a very comfortable apartment hotel

None!

The Somerset has the complete package and is a comfortable retreat from all that is Bangkok. While it is a few minutes walk from the tourist areas of Silom, it is also close to local commercial areas in Suan Plu and nearby that give you a more authentic bangkok experience.

Shopping Tip : Instead of heading north out of the soi, just walk right as you leave the hotel andyou will soon be among a set of local shops that becomes a local s night market after sunset!

Many food stands near hotel

At night, it is a little too dark (not enough light) for the walkway from Suanplu street to Hotel. It would be better if there are a few lights for your steps. It is actually no problem for walking but I could not see there is a snail on the walkway (after rain) and I stepped on snail.

100-200m distance to North on Suanplu street (lift turn of the street in front of hotel), there are over 20 food stands, mainly open from evening time, including noodles, rice soup, fish, chicken, beaf, pork, fruits, dessert and (Thai original) coconut icecream stands.

Hotel Feature Tip : It takes 15 min walk by foot from hotel to Silom street. Hotel has tuk tuk service every 30 min from hotel to the nearest station, Silon and Saladaeng

staff are friendly, the bell are extremely helpful for the luggage or taxi...room is good and i feel just like at home...

i lived in the two bedroom deluxe, the thing i just a little bit dislike is that if you take shower in both the bathrooms at the same time, the water supply is not enough

This is my second visit within one year. I feel very satisfied and enjoyed the stay very much. Staff are friendly, always smile and helpful. The room is good as past and the breakfast can keep the standard. you can feel the warmly welcomes during your in and out. I will keep my continuing with this hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : can try the spa in the hotel. In-house guest can enjoy 15-20% discount. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Most spacious, comfortable, value for money hotel

A bit far from the main street though

Very spacious hotel and room - it has bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom. It is bigger than my aparment in Seoul actually. But the price was very decent. Also I enjoyed their breakfast. It is a bit far from the center but if you take the cab it is managable. Also the pool in the roof is great too. I love to go this hotel again.

Shopping Tip : If you go to the Jim Thomson outlet, you can find very good products with value for money.
