Expensive breakfast and room service
Good value for money if you don't want anything too fancy. The staff are great thanks to the Amari code. I find all Amari properties have excellent staff training and I always feel welcome. The location is a bit far from the "action" re shopping and restaurants but we found some fine street close by and the Skytrain is a 5 minute walk. Good value for a stopover in the city.

small size; very clean; friendly service
warm welcome at reception - staff greeted us like we're old friends (we had stayed two previous times just in 2009). thorough housekeeping staff. very friendly, polite, and prompt service from the helf staff at breakfast. Staff attitude is amazing, including the doormen, bellmen, parking attendents. definitely a place not to feel like you're one of the hundreds other guests in a bland, gigantic hotel.
Travel tip : close to the emporium: great food and very reasonable prices at 'food mall,' where you buy coupons to exchange different dishes.

Staff, location, breakfast buffet
The staff is well trained and always friendly. This is true for the front desk, security, and restaurant staff. Seldom have I found such great service with a smile in Bangkok. The location is close to the skytrain and shopping. I have stayed here several times this year and will return soon. The staff at breakfast get special mention. They are efficient and always friendly.
