the reception hall and the lobby café is just elegant and royal not to mention the beautifull design of the room and the general quiet athmosphére ; some of the special event : when I was there you had the oyster special and nothing else : too bad when you are not prepare to go out . For the Air France flight leaving at 11 PM the check out time of 2 PM is too early . at a very good location in the center of the business area the Sukhothai is a perfect place to stay when you travel on a rather short schedule . When you arrive from a long flight you like to have a discret attention and a relax ambiance to recover from the jetlack and be ready the next morning for meetings . The rooms well fitted are quiet and very relaxing ; I would recommend this palace.

The most beautiful fitness center for men luxurious, warm ,with mirrors everywhere with sauna, steam, Jacuzzi open all during the day and late in the evening and free for people of the hotel. It will be nice to have more music or orchestra! The only thing I don't like is some corridor to go to the bed rooms are very noisy because there is no carpet. This hotel is very quiet and the swimming pool is the biggest I know in Bangkok. The personnel is very nice and charming.

Great breakfast, great service, and great swimming pool. The internet access in the internet room was not for free, on a contrary was relatevely expensive.
The air conditionner was very noisy and the light in the bathroom was not strong enough. Nightlife Tip : Vertigo Bar at the Banyan Tree Hotel.

The Thai restaurant in this hotel is also wonderful. We enjoyed sophisticated Thai food here.
Restaurant Tip : Suan Lum Night Bazaar is near the hotel. A seafood restaurant called "Suan Lum Seafood" is recommendable.

Privacy when you want it, service when you want it, lounge around the pool or at the bar, this is just the place to relax in Bangkok while you prepare yourself for the nightife. I always felt very secure at the hotel, with numerous security staff very evident at all hours. There's also a checkpoint as you come into the main driveway. Not a lot for kids to do around the hotel except the pool, but certainly accommodating for families with children. The suites are something else, and I highly recommend them if you are there to be pampered.

A classy hotel, we opted for the airport transfer and were driven to the hotel in a brand new Mercedes 320D. Once we arrived, we were met by a guest relations manager who took us straight to our room for in-room check-in. We stayed here for our honeymoon and waiting for us in the room was a miniature wedding cake, a bottle of chilled sparkling wine, and champagne flutes. This was all in the first night. It really sets the scene for our entire stay.
Restaurant Tip : The restraunts are classy, so dress nice.

Many aging. The lower floor will hear the sound of the bar until midnight. The front desk clerk and a taxi in the morning in bed at night UTSU伏SE. Hotel services are quite different from the past fall. I think the service has been declining in recent years.
