A nice new airport hotel with good size rooms

Great location for airport, small rooms
close to airport if you have an early morning flight

we stayed here for 1 night, arriving late from phuket and leaving at 6 am to make our 8 am flight home, so did not get to experience much of the hotel other than the bed.
there were some noisy live music, which was a bit annoying as we were trying to get some sleep before getting up early for our flight.
all staff we encountered were super friendly and courteous, provided great service. airport transfer service is great. we even got a breakfast pack to take with us, as we were leaving before breakfast started.

Nice hotel, not great location
Near the airport, new, clean, comfortable; two of the bell men were fantastic.

if you are just stopping in bangkok for an extended layover, this is a comfortable hotel, close to the airport.
however, if you have limited time and want to "do" bangkok, this is not the hotel for you. it took us over 45 min to get downtown from the hotel by taxi. also, being a relateively new hotel, most of the taxi drivers (airport and downtown) did not know where it was. we had 3 taxi drivers turn us down when we tried to get a ride back from downtown even with a business card from the hotel.
the breakfast was bland and the front desk staff were not great. the bartender and bell staff were the highlights of this hotel.
the room was warm when we arrived and it took over 1/2 hour for it to cool to comfort.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The Veeranda Cafe on the 6th floor is charming and would afford a lovely view...if there was anything in the neighborhood worth looking at. We did not try the spa although it looked very nice.

Good place if arriving late or leaving early

Clean, pleasant place to stay but while close to the airport the surroundings are depressing. Broken cement and construction trash surround the hotel even though it's off the main street.This is the 2ndtime I stayed at this hotel but I won't go there again. Even though I specified when I wanted to go to the airport for my flight I was only told in the morning that the shuttle would leave later and there was further delay in leaving and that left just barely enough time to catch my flight.
Restaurant Tip:
Good restaurant-turn left on main street after leaving hotel and you only have to go a few hundred feet. It has fish tanks, a large grills and some of the tables and seats are cement so easy to recognize. Great grilled fish and stir fries and inexpensive.

i stayed here for one night because need to fly early in the next day. but during the night somebody came inside our room around 4 am it's freak me out i think it's stuff my bf walked to the door but they already left . we lock the door everytimes so i think they used the key to open our room. anyway it's very strange night for us.
