We got smoking room, and there was no option to choose smoking or non smoking room! Internet was not working even on reception. Very poor breakfast, even do very good coffee. Night before check out we booked taxi with reception. In the morning they told us it is coming, and after 15 minutes nothing happened, reception staff asked us with whom you book the taxi? We will call now don't worry! Sorry, but we went outside and catch taxi alone, because we are about to be late for our fight! Completely un-professional staff. Value for money ZERO! You can book cheaper hotels with better quality in same/similar location in Bangkok. Avoid this hotel if you can and save your money!

I stayed here last 21-22 March 2013 with a friend. The hotel is is not along the main road, but in an alley. Most taxis do not know this hotel so better take note of the address. It is a decent hotel (quite old) with good buffet breakfast selection. Though they change towels daily, the towels are too worn out... so better bring your own towel. The central airconditioning works great and does beat the heat of Bangkok climate. Beside the hotel, there's an on-going construction so expect some noise.

I returned to the Swiss Park because it has been convenient and friendly here in the past. It is an older hotel in need of renovations, but still it is kept clean, the staff are cheerful and the rates are lower than more modern hotels in the same area.

I will not hesitate to book againg to stay when I am in Bangkok next time. Staff are very respectful and supportive. As I left on Sunday and vacated the room by 12 Noon as they were full up and could not extend my departure time and the Bell captain was not around the Front desk Manager volunteered to transport my luggage to the lobby for safe keeping until the afternoon until I am ready to leave to airport at 4 pm.

If they updated the bathroom the room would be very good. Shower water went from warm to cold and back to hot. Toliets need updated.

Close to local rail services, 2min walk. making it easy to get from one place to another.

My stay was very good, only one problem the toilet in my first room leaked, and the shower in the second did not work, my third room was 1a and the staff went out of there way to make things work for me. Thanks to these people.
