nice for spending night at downtown in bkk

hotel have a very good location at the down town of bkk, very close to skytrain station , just two stations to go siam square where a lot of shopping malls are available

it's easy to access main street and bts station. breakfast is included and it's so so. staff is friendly. i'll stay this hotel again.

Swiss Park Hotel
cheap, close to BTS train station

This place was OK for 1 night - I had to be up really early next day to get to the airport by 6am. It's OK for this - fairly close to the airport, and near the BTS for getting around town. The room was a bit shabby, the hotel a bit old - it needs to be refurbished. But it's cheap, the bed was comfortable, so did the job of providing a place to stay overnight before getting to the airport.
Shopping Tip:
Emporium shopping centre (very nice food court) is 2 stops down the BTS, Siam Square and the MBK centre are a few stops the other way - so the main shopping centres of Bangkok are very close.

Can't beat it for the price
Great location. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast unmatched in this price range.

Good value, nothing to complain about in this business type city hotel. There may be better hotels in the area but the value for money will probably not be bettered.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There are lifts but there are steps up to the lift in the lobby. Elderly and disabled beware!!

good location but pay for any guess

The hotel its is a great location for nightlife, shooping and the train its just amost out side the hotel. Very convinient to go aroung BKK. The breakfast its not bad at all and they have free internet in the 1st floor but not in the rooms. The hotel its very clean and help you with any tour or travel around Japan.

Perfect location and value for money

It's very near the Nana Skytrain station. Central, tourist area, with lotsa bars, massage and pedi/manicure boutiques, restaurants, street hawkers and etc. Good facilities and service for the kind of price paid.

The rooms are clean and of adequate size, bathrooms need a bit of up grading, safe and mini bar.
The breakfast is reasonable with some variety of both Western and Thai food. The swimming pool is small but OK for a quick dip but the swimming pool surround is poorly maintained and needs renovation.
With friendly front office staff and a very reasonable room rate in the center of Sukhumvit close to many food outlets and bars and pubs you couldnt ask for more
Restaurant Tip:
For a really cheap meal go to the Food Court in the basement of Robinsons Department Store a wide variety of Thai and other Asian food inc European dishes .... buy coupons and you get refunds on un used coupons dishes from Bt40 upwards

Older hotel but good deal

Swiss Park Hotel is a great deal, in a great location. Service was friendly and excellent. The hotel is old and showing its age, but is still a good deal compared to other hotels in the area. They will charge for an extra guest. Internet only available in lobby.

Easy check in - no hassle!
Breakfast was normal cheep Bangkok hotel standard including the boiled??? ham.
Breakfast room more like a factory rest room.
Over priced for what you get.
