fantastic hotel strategically placed right by the mrt (underground) station. this stop which is about 5 mins walk from hotel takes you (10-15 mins)right to sukhumvit rd (asoke) where you can shop/eat/party until your hearts content!!!
i love this hotel because every time i stay there it seems to be a better experience than the last time, which has always been first class.
the international buffet is amazing, so much choice and all yummy... it's also incredibly inexpensive which is always a plus!! top hotel that gives hilton international standard service.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a famous crab restaurant 10 mins walk fro the hotel (on other side of road) which is well worth a visit. Really great crab curry (no shell) and fab thai food at very inexpensive prices.

great location as it is 2 mins walk away from mrt huay kwang station. furthermore, it is suggested to go to have dinner with somboon seafood restaurant which is 5 minutes away. after dinner it is suggested to go to the night market which is 2 mins away from somboon seafood restaurant.

Nice hotel and good location

the hotel was well located in the heart Rachada road.
it was also near to the Huay Khwang market and lots of great food around.
the room was good but the breakfast wasn't impressive but was alright.
will definitely stay again the next time.

Restaurant Tip:
There is a nearby thai seafood resturant, Kwan seafood. Must try if you stay at the hotel

Fantastic hotel, great value

my boyfriend and i stayed at the swissotel le concord in bangkok in late january. we had a fantastic time and we found the hotel to be fabulous. our room was very impressive with a very large, very comfortable bed and a good view overlooking bangkok. the buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing and it had everything i could ever ask for. beautiful pastries, amazing meats and fruit and lovely asian dishes. the hotel itself is a long way from the centre of town of you are looking for parties and nightlife. we found bangkok traffic horrible so decided against taxis as it took us 2hours to get into town from this hotel once. it is very close to the subway though which was excellent. overall swissotel was lovely and i would highly recommend it.

Close to MRT and many "red-lights" nearby

I stayed here for a business trip with my boss.
It was the first time we received welcome drinks in Thailand (the sweet herbal tea).
Nice location close to the MRT Huai Kwang station.
However neighborhood is not very nice with many "red-lights".
Although the hotel was nice, I might not stay around here next time.
