Good rate and worth for convenient, it was so near to the place I need to get to, escape from traffic jam. around 5 mins walk to train station, it's convenient. Good service and room. Free wifi.

A sharp well maintained hotel

I would give this hotel a return visit most definitely. All workers were in distinct uniforms).They stored my excess baggage in their holding room returned days later. Everything was quick, sharp and concise with the entire hotel crew. The immense lobby gives you a feeling of airiness. I stayed in a standard room with both an bath and separate shower. Amenities were very adequate. Housekeepers were within two doors down if anything else is needed. Breakfast is included from 0600 to 1000 in their large dining room. Full compliment of hot and cold foods were available for all types of palates. Located on very busy Rachapisek Rd. MRT(subway-easy to travel within Bangkok connecting to BTS[Skytrain]).Street shopping is across the street(tho chessy). Airport during non-rush hours is about 40 minutes away and cost about $7. Plain clothes security present in the vast lobby.

Been to a few 5 star in Bangkok, thus the service is much expected.
Was awoken by porter to collect my luggage at 3am. He got the wrong room
The food at rate fountain cafe is good. Buffet dinner was very affordable.
Staff are friendly and lots of smile.
The neighbourhood is lack of eateries. Not even fast food outlet
Lucky thing the mrt station just two minutes walk. And short ride to the nearest mall
At Sukhumvit station.

This hotel is a bit old but very well maintain, don't miss the breakfast here as the food very delicious and lot varieties too. Also at the lobby there is a bakery (Deli) which sells nice pastry and cake. Staff also very nice. Gym / Fitness center also very good but crowded at evening. Swimming pool water is very murky for hotel standard, not nice to swim.

Have stayed countless times at Swissotel Concorde and have never once been disappointed. During my last stay, I left some personal item in the room but this was promptly returned to me while I was almost boarding a taxi to the airport. Excellent service. Swissotel has all that one needs as a business traveler, and without a doubt the price is unbeatable.

Good comfortable rooms as expected from 5 star hotel...but rude service staff at the coffee house. Bias towards Asian guests. Poor attitude when serving Asian guests, while welcoming to Caucasian people.
