Great Hotel - quite and good location

Hotel clean and large rooms. Hotel pool/sauna great. Buffet breakfast exceptional.Location is quite and within a 5 min walk are train/bus. Many restaurants, English style pubs, street eateries, massages, Post Office, bank and a multi story department store and Soi Cowboy. Laundromat within hotel but also in street across from Hotel. 727 above underground train station. All in all nice area and no problems - safe. We will stay again.
Nightlife Tip:
Soi Cowboy nearby - Sit, get a drink and and watch the street parade! Interesting.

Great staff
Good stop for short stay/Long layovers in Bangkok.

Easy to and from, good breakfast, friendly staff. This has been my third time to stay at the Tai-Pan and I will definitly stay again. Taxi to and from the airport is inexpensive, around 300, depending on the driver and your " Tour". The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I was impressed with Tai-Pan Hotel. Rooms were large, well layed out, and had all amenities for a comfortable stay. Hotel restaurant and food was exceptional. Great location for nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. Overall, a very positive experience.

my stay at taipan started with they arranging pick up from the airport, check in was prompt and they gave me a room at the 16th floor with nice view. the hotel is a nice place to stay. tv is small with mostly chinese and thai channels, there are some hollywood movies and news channel also available. terminal 21 is at walking distance and you can fine exceptional food at terminal 21 pier, no matter how much you eat you wont be spending more than 200 bath per person( that is for exotic food).the hotel is a at best location where you can catch a bts or mts within walking distance.
