Good Hotel, great location, great value
9
I got a great deal at this hotel, the location is superb, a short walk to BTS skytrain station, MRT underground station and the lively Sukhumvit area. Th hotel has a decent sized pool, and a well equipped Gym
Restaurant Tip:
Try SUK 11 yes you guessed, its in Sukhumvit 11, a real glimpse of traditional Thai food, in a traditional setting. Its not expensive either. If you are feeling flush try Koi Sukhumvit 20, it where the attractive, cool and possibly the vein

Good location and nice size room
8.7
Very nice place to stay. Location near Asok skytrain and Soi Cowboy was ideal. Also, massage places right across street are great. Nice sized rooms, a bit dated but otherwise fine for the price.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurant on corner of Soi Cowboy has great food and very inexpensive.

Functional hotel at a good price for the area
Relaxed and friendly, and nice big rooms

I was showing a very old friend round the city. This was a good central place to stay near an underground/skytrain interchange (500 metres). The hotel has all anyone really needs in a city-stay hotel, with few frills beyond that. The breakfast was standard fare but quite well done. All in all, you could call it run-of-the-mill, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I was impressed the porter remembered me from a previous visit (am I too generous?)

I stayed on here for a week, decent value, good room services, great lunch buffet for at lunchtime. Close to the Asoke BTS station and Soi Cowboy (if that is your thing).
For some reason, my room(s)(I requested a change) smelled a little like cigarette smoke from time to time., even though there were listed as non-smoking. I suspect someone may have been smoking periodically in front of the air conditioning air supply, but that is only speculation.
decent value for convenient location

Its a great hotel with friendly staff providing excellent service at all times. Its location to BTS and subway makes it easy for us to go to other location. Pubs are located nearby and a few good eating spots at nearby. Will stay there again

We only stayed 1 night as we were leaving the next day. The Tai Pan is a great place to stay. It's very nice and the service is great. Rooms are very big.
