Room looks cute, breakfast provided, internet access at lobby (and wireless in the room), staff helpful.
Security of the place (see below), room is not VERY clean, bed frame to be checked to ensure it's not spoilt.
On the overall, it's easy to find, but be sure to save the hostel's phone number just in case! It's considered a nice place, judging by how it's a hostel, not exactly the usual motel or hotel. At least breakfast is provided, though not of much variety.
Room wise, the floor could be cleaner. But it's just nice if you're just looking for a bed to sleep at night (not too cramped). The TV only has one channel - Channel V. But my husband and I quite enjoyed our stay there.
Staff is friendly enough, lending us umbrellas when it started raining, answering to our many enquiries on directions, places to go, etc.
My only main concern is they did not check your ID when you collect your keys from them after you had deposited them at the counter early in the morning. But perhaps they recognized us, so they didn't bother to check to confirm that the identity of the person collecting the keys is the same as the occupant's.
Nightlife Tip : King's Garden pub at Patpong area behind the hostel. Very friendly staff there.

- Good location
- Good service (Especially the guy called Tan, Except 2 full time girls whose attitude not so good)
- Hot!
- No windows
- Problem with the water
- Internet access
Location is really good to access the BTS and night clubs.
Avoid staying on top floor (4th floor), it is really hot. Aircon and fan do not seem to help.
We are very happy with the service attitude of Mr Tan. He is very helpful. Just name a few: He was running up and down to help us with the safety box (not very user friendly) and other issues and even help us to get a portable fan after changing to a new room without fan installed on the wall.
Problem with the shower water. Sometime there is no water! And the water temp. not able to be adjusted.
Breakfast is the traditional western style. It is actually sufficient for me plus I only managed to eat once during the 4-day-stay due to oversleep (it is from 7am to 10am only). Do not expect the variety like those in the 4-star hotel.
Good to have internet access. But the 2 always occupied sometime.
Even though it is a famous location, taxi/Tutu driver seems to have hard time knowing the address by reading the business. Lucky I have a local friend later to tell driver our location. Get a local to teach you how to tell driver.
Travel tip : When you have 3 or 4 person (even 2), it is more saver (or same price) actually to take taxi then the train. But you have to make sure the driver turn on the meter. Some may worry about traffic but I don't experience any traffic jam at all during my stay from 18 to 21 apr 2009. Better still and save more by bargaining first (a local friend with you can save you up from bargaining and get the best deal), if you dun mind the dust or a bit of heat (taxi's aircon are all too weak), take Tutu.

The staffs are friendly and the room were relatively clean and comfortable. The hostel being located in a strategic location makes it convenient accessing to most tourist spot.
Well, sometimes friendly people can be forgetful too when one of the day the staff forgot to make up our room and the other day we found a whole bunch of room keys left at the door of a vacant room.
Good location and walking distance to Silom attraction and located in the mids of both Salaedang station and Silom MRT. Friendly staff, clean room with added theme. Fair price. Free internet access with very simple breakfast choice which would run out sometimes if the hostel is packed. Since the hostel is located next to the highway, do ask for a room there is away from the main road otherwise you would live the hotel's name - Take A Nap rather than sleeping as it's very noisy.
