Every time I visit Bangkok I stay here due to thet friendly nature of all the staff. It is a 2 minute walk to Pat Pong night market and all the bars and clubs. Staff are exceptional and have always gone out if their way to help. Great addition to the hotel is tha availibity of the breakfast. If you choose to stay in be and rest you can have your breakfast at what ever time of tg day suits you

My wife and I checked into the Tarntawan Place to have a night out in Bangkok. We live quite far out of town and have a 16 month daughter so this was a treat.
Although the rooms in the Tarntawan Place hotel aren't anything to write home about, they are clean and comfortable. What made the whole experience great was the location (downtown) and the service. The people were very friendly and warm.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good hotel in the given price range.

Okay hotel on a quiet side court

This hotel is for those wanting to stay in the Suriwong Road area near the nightlife of Patpong. It is down it's own small soi which ends in a small quiet square where the hotel entrance is. The lobby and breakfast area is nice enough but every time I ate there, it was too quiet and a bit boring.
The rooms are 3 star at best. They seem a bit worn. The front desk staff was always polite but not full of the smiles one can come to expect and look forward to when arriving in Bangkok.
The hotel is an OK value if you get a good Agoda rate. Their rack rate is ridiculously high for what you get.
