Very nice property but we had a bit of trouble with keys and rooms at check-in late at night which was a drag. Breakfast buffet very weak. Not worth the extra charge when booking.
Restaurant Tip:
TipTop on Soi Patpong has large menu, food and prices decent for the area.

Traditional and comfortable hotel in town

We took superior room only (without breakfast). the hotel decorations are traditional. You have to go up a fliht of stairs to go to the lobby, so quite difficult if you bring your baby. The room is comfortable, with king bed. The bathroom is quite small though.

For this price it was amazing value. The location on Suriwong is ok and it is a short walk to BTS so easy access to Siam/Chaopraya River. Overall though the hotel needs a little bit of work. It is looking a bit dated in a market where so many new hotels have emerged. The wifi as mentioned by others is free and has good connectivity.
Restaurant Tip:
Roadhouse Steakhouse at corner of Rama 4 and Suriwong does great steaks.

this hotel is very closed to patpong night market, beer bars. this hotel great for first timer to bangkok. i love free wifi here.

Breakfast here is so bad. There basically nothiNg to eat. It is better to book room without breakfast.

hotel is in a good location with access to rail and services. on site restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. staff at the hotel are great - extremely helpful and unobtrusive. room was a deluxe unit overlooking the pool- very comfortable and well fitted out.
overall a very pleasant stay. the only turn off was the long and frustrating check out rigmarole. needs to her more streamlined for business travelers.

service staff at counter are friendly and helpful, able to communicate in english well, willing to accomodate last-minute requests and changes whenever possible. rooms are spacious, although some of the fixtures and fittings are quite old and could do with some upgrade and replacement. wireless internet connection is available in room but connection can be disrupted intermittently, possibly due to weak signals. house-keeping staff are prompt to tidy up daily, non-intrusive.
Nightlife Tip:
5 minute walk away from Patpong night market.
