i have stayed at the tawana on two different occaisions and have been very pleased with their service and overall attention to detail. the mattresses are rather firm which may or may not be to your liking. staff are very friendly and helpful as needed. english was spoken fairly well. would definitely stay again.

very nice Hotel

Very nice Hotel. staff friendly and professional. Room was very good, However first night had to stay in a smoking room, called reception they apologised, but could not change till next day as they were full. Next day no problem. Pool small but big enough, because I have found when you stay in city Hotel nobody use pool normally.

I have stayed many times here and have always enjoyed it. However I did have a very disappointing shock when I got the bill. I received a 50% discount on the breakfast in the way of a voucher as my room didn't include breakfast. Shock was the breakfast is 500 baht per person and the breakfast is worth about 200 per person in my view. I live in Thailand and been to many hotels and am very aware of breakfast cost. This was a total rip off! That was my only downer. Apart from that its good value
Travel tip:
Breakfast down the road is 180 baht.

This hotel does not allow to bring any guest to your room, otherwise there you will be charged for an addition guest even your guest stays only an hour. The security were very rude. He talked to me like I was poor guest trying to cheat the hotel.
The hotel is very old and the bath room looks dirty.
Nightlife Tip:
The area around the hotel is very attractive night life. But I would suggest to find other hotel which offer reasonable price with good service mind.

it is a little far away from the shopping mall central world. from central wrold plaza, 10 mins walking to metro, take one stop by metro and 5 mins to hotel. it is not easy to call a taxi after shopping, there are tuk tuk anywhere but changes a lot, even more expensive than taxi.
Shopping Tip:
from the hotel, it is very easy to go shopping for naraya bags. there is one shop only 30 meters away from the hotel and a lot of discount bags there. This naraya shop is not always full of people like in central world plaza. It is a really nice place to go.

It was a good on-line offer for room only. But have to check and book carefully even because the hotel policy charges for extra person in the room even though if you had selected a twin-room with one person!

Right in the midst of all the nightlife and fun.

I stayed at this hotel last time I was in Bangkok and will stay again the next time. The hotel location is right near Patpong Road with easy access to the night market and bars. Its close to transport as well. Hotel itself is clean and the staff very friendly.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is pretty central to most things. Anywhere is just a quick taxi ot Tuk Tuk trip away.
